The CX 280s look great, but lack punch when it comes to sound quality.

Overall, these headphones offer the weakest audio quality here, although they manage respectably on bass-light tunes. They look good though, and come in at a relatively low price.

I wanted to go for some good quality headphones that wouldn't fall apart after a week (I'd been reading bad reviews about the cheaper ones) so chose these as Sennheiser has a good reputation.

sound good, still working 3 years after purchase

 

I've used these daily at work for over 3 years now. I use them at my desk so the cord doesn't get abused. They have lasted 3 times longer than the last set I paid $100 for.

Wow, the MSRP on these was $70? I paid $28 - must have been my lucky day. These were decent headphones - I refuse to spend more than $30 on a pair since I use my headphones in the gym and while mowing the lawn. They lasted almost a full 2 years before...
