Expert Review

Finally we can say that Sennheiser HD 439 is not pricey, even it is very comfortable to wear and the sound should appeal to anyone and everyone who does not want a bass heavy set of cans.

Leftshifted, not worth full price. Very comfortable though

Audio quality is decent, but definitely not in the $100 full price range. My much cheaper Sennheiser CX300 *in-ears* have better audio quality, without having to double the volume output. Blocks out some sound by sheer virtue of being over-ear. You'll...

- Extremely comfortable. I can wear these for hours and hours, unlike most other on or over ear designs - Good soft, comfortable padding on earmuffs and headband, not the cheap faux leather that cracks and falls apart - Extremely lightweight for the...

- Leftshifted. The removable audio cables -easily- get loose enough to cause the right speaker to be quieter. Sometimes I just give up playing with the jack and use my sound mixer to play at +1 right shift to compensate, which makes it sound natural...

Long Term Use

A dedicated sound card and adjusted equalizer will make your listening experience on these much better, they take the extra power and run with it. The frequencies are replayed very accurately so you may need to adjust your equalizer to boost the lower...

Clear sound across the board Superb for the price range Acceptable cable quality Very comfortable, never gives me headaches and doesn't heat my ears up It's on its fourth year of continuous use and it's just as good as the day I bought it Bass powerful...

Newer models available, but these are still my favorite of this price range Big to travel with but that is to be expected with headphones without the additional weight of hinges

Came in good package, but once tested, the volume was low and only one side of the headset actually had sound. Had to return.

No pros on this yet

Bad sound.

Great Headphones

Good sound quality, can wear them for hours at a time with no ear preassure discomfort, includes 10 and 3 foot cables, interesribg way to hide the detachable cable, great open ear design, stays on head.

Great Headphones!

I would recommend these headphones to anyone who likes to have great sound, however, as with obtaining great sound from all full-sized headphones coupled with portable electronics, use a headphone amplifier, like the FiiO E6 Portable Headphone Amplifier.

I've owned these headphones for a couple of years, I use them frequently and I find them to be my favorite headphones of the many I've owned and presently own. I like the fabric over-the-ear design as it makes them very comfortable. I use these...

There's nothing I have any issues with.
