The Sennheiser Momentum get a baby brother.

High-quality, fun sound ; Strong sub-bass ; Good looks and build

Poor noise isolation

The Sennheiser Momentum On-ear headphones look good, sound good and feel good for a pair of on-ear headphones. There’s just one problem. Noise isolation isn’t great, so they’re not well-suited to noisy environments.

Great looks, great sound, great headphones

Premium design ; Dynamic, balanced and enjoyable sound ; Comfortable ; Choice of cables and connections

Sennheiser Momentum review: verdict At £260 they certainly aren’t the cheapest among their competitors, but their refreshingly balanced sound and great design makes them worth every penny, easily putting them among our favourite on-the-go headphones.

Almost a full-house but not quite, the Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear headphones are still a good-sounding, stylish pair of portable cans

Sweetly communicative treble ; Punchy bass ; Well-balanced across the frequency range ; Super-comfy ; Great design

Lack a little clarity in the midrange

But it’s not a deal-breaker. The Momentums still serve up a nicely easygoing sound. Like the Philips M1s, they’re the kind of cans that you could listen to all day long.

Sennheiser Momentum review

If you fancy a pair of headphones with great sound quality -- ones that don't pummel you with bass -- and a lightweight, stylish design that's good enough to turn heads, then step this way.

Great sound quality; stylish design; excellent build quality.

Not especially packable.

The Sennheiser Momentums combine style, strong construction and excellent sound quality. If you're after a pair of headphones for the commute and you value clear, accurate sound, then the Momentums would be a superb choice.
