Shure's SRH550DJ headphones have swivelling cups that make them easier to move away from your ear if you wish to monitor outside sounds. As the name suggests, it's a nice feature for bedroom DJs, and one that adds comfort and flexibility for everyone...

With a rich, powerful sound, comfortable weight and a reasonable price, this is our favourite set of on-ear headphones at this price

Flat, non-exaggerated response geared towards DJs, home studios, and musicians. No distortion at high volumes when used with mobile devices, laptops. DJ-friendly design with flip-up ear cups.

Can be uncomfortable for long listening periods. Will distort slightly at high volumes when used in studio or live gig scenarios with more powerful amplification.
