Sony MDR-ZX700 Review

The Sony ZX700 headphones seem like they're meant to appeal to audiophiles and studio pros, but with such a short cord, sterile sound and no ¼-inch adapter included, we doubt they will end up being the top choice of either.

Sony MDR-ZX700

These cans have very good sound isolation - little outside sound leaks in and nothing leaks out. Great for blocking out noise on the train and in the office without disturbing others. The best sound quality I have experienced for closed-back...

Still not as good as open-back cans. When I am at home and have no background noise and nobody around to disturb I will use my open-back Goldring or Sennheiser. No storage pouch/bag - this is given

Excellent Vintage Sound

As others have described, the sound quality is very pleasant and reproduction true to a vintage sound. Very comfortable. Note the cord length and connector type. You probably need an extension and an adapter if you are using 1/4" plugs like in most...

Sounds Great

Have to buy a patch extension cord so I can sit back from my PC.

Great clear sound at any volume. Had to stop when my ears started bleeding

The dang cord is to short and it is a straight cord not a curly one
