SteelSeries 7H Headphones Review

The SteelSeries 7H is a pair of premium-priced headphones aimed majorly at hardcore gamers.

The SteelSeries 7H is a pair of headphones with gaming as its primary focus and will certainly meet your needs (and probably exceed them) if you are buying them for that purpose. It handles music and movies well too but for its price, I would recommend...

SteelSeries 7H iPhone Headset Review

SteelSeries have teamed up with Apple to provide iPhone, iPod, iPad users with an audio product to enjoy movies and music with.

Superb build quality ; Great design ; Clear and crisp audio ; Good price

Mic only useable with Apple products ; Not enough bass ; Can be uncomfortable after prolonged use

Although the SteelSeries 7H i-edition is a well-designed product with neutral styling and a high build quality which will appeal to many consumers, it may be filling a gap in the market that may not even be there. The headset is marketed as a mobile...

Review: Steelseries 7H Gaming Headset (Apple Compatible)

The Steelseries 7H looks to be their first entry into the real audio world. Compatible with Apple iPhones, iPads and iPods.

Good music performance ; Sound in movies is very good ; Apple adaptor is pretty cool ; Mic quality is good as usual ; Comfortable and very sharp looking ; Portability is nice due to small size and ability to take them apart

Adapter is Apple-only ; Mids and Highs come in muddy in certain music ; No mic capabilities for PC users ; No 3.5mm jack adapter is included to increase cable length

Steelseries has stepped up the quality in the speakers used from their mid-range line to the high-end 7H headset quite a bit. While these headphones aren't quite audiophile quality they do deliver clear crisp sound that everyone can enjoy. There were...

SteelSeries 7H For i Devices Review

As time moves on the gap between different technologies is ever shrinking. Whereas once your mobile did phone calls, a Walkman provided your audio and a Filofax was your planner, or even more recently where your mobile did calls and email, an iPod...

Outstanding Sound Quality ; Pleasant Aesthetics ; Matte Finish ; Break-apart design

No PC support for microphone ; No braided cable

KitGuru says: A great product, but a simple, low cost PC adapter would have helped.

SteelSeries 7H Pro Gaming Headset Video Review

Today, we have the SteelSeries 7H Headset to review. It boasts a pull out microphone, is travel friendly (by being able to dismantle into 4 pieces), features rich clean sound and has interchangeable ear cushions. Let's take a closer look at the 7H.

All in all, the 7H has been a pleasure to review and has proven to have both superior sound and build quality. Priced at between £75 – £90, it is slightly on the expensive side but after using them you can definitely tell why they are priced like they...

SteelSeries 7H Review

Previewed at CeBit the 7H Gaming Headset from SteelSeries with interchangeable ear-cushions and a wide assortment of features.

Fantastic audio quality across every spectrum ; Great build quality ; Good for travelling - breaks into parts ; Interchangeable ear-cushions ; Retractable microphone ; Very comfortable

Bass could do with a slight punch

Since we began reviewing SteelSeries products, I have always held their solutions in high regard. I particularly like the way they style their products - they aren't always loud and boastful. But they serve a purpose. Functionality is always a key...

SteelSeries 7H

The SteelSeries 7Hs are pricey, but the isolation is impressive as is the portability, and the balance between gaming headphones and music is well struck.

Excellent isolation ; Can pull it apart for travelling ; Detachable headphone cable ; Long cable that's also detachable via 3.5mm cables ; Hidden mic

Pricey ; Drums are a bit over-driven in music due to gaming enhancements

We like the 7Hs, but at AU$189 they're not cheap. Still, the isolation is brilliant, as is the portability, and the balance between gaming and music is well struck. If you lean more towards the gaming side, the 7Hs are a good purchase — but at this...
