Awesome system for the price

I would recommend this product because its awesome....seems to be the right setup for descent size rooms

easy setup ; everything is nicely color coded for setup ; movies play well

bass is a tad weak but not a huge problem for me ; no eject button on the remote ; S-Air not integrated but wireless cartridges provided

Bang for the buck!

Newegg delivery was flawless on time right to my apartment. Others can learn on customer service from Newegg. Well done folks. For a discount of 200 bucks this was a perfect bang!

The system is perfect for an average size apartment. The sound is clear and base is adequate. It's not a Bose, but its a Sony! Putting it together was simple. Provides excellent clarity on DVD and manages to impress. A great choice for a family

The speaker wires could be better. S-Air appears subdued on low volumes for rear speakers. Perhaps direct connection could be better. Night mode is not noticeable

SONY BDV-E500W 5.1-Channel Blu-ray Disc Home Theater System

All in all.... great HMIB system for the money. Not the best out there, but not the worst either. I'm happy with it.

For what I needed, this system is fantastic. Simple hook-up, color coded for easy speaker connections, and 5.1 sounds are excellent. BD player has great 1080P picture quality. Music CD's have never sounded better. The auto 5.1 speaker adjustment works...

No eject button on remote. The remote is fairly simple to understand, but seems a bit crowed with to many buttons. Getting to the bass and treble controls are awkward, as they cannot be done on screen, but rather on the units external menu display. No...

Impressive Compacted System

During the memorial day weekend I networked the blue ray and now has extended content capabilities, and operating system updates.

I received the box in newegg time as usual. The system was installed on a Saturday afternoon over a glass of wine. Everything comes efficiently packed in the box, very easy to follow instructions, elegant and compact, the tower speakers are superb and...

I hope that in a near future Sony and other electronic manufactures integrate wireless network access by default
