Trust DS-3250 Optical Wireless Multimedia Desktop review: Trust DS-3250 Optical Wireless Multimedia Desktop

Trust DS-3250 Optical Wireless Multimedia Desktop

Comfortable, low-profile keyboard with lots of useful hot keys; easy-to-use media buttons on the mouse provide basic play control.

Initial setup a little tricky; no dedicated Windows Media Center launch button.

It's not as fancy as any of the higher-end multimedia input devices from Logitech or Microsoft, but we found the straightforward features of Trust's DS-3250 Optical Wireless Multimedia worthwhile and easy to use. And at less than $70, its price is...

No range

I can't believe they would make a wireless combo like this with such a short range. I guess it's OK to clear up some cable clutter on your desk, but other than that the wireless is worthless. I bought the other model previously for my wife and it is...

Multiple mouse buttons, well laid-out keyboard config with useful extra buttons, good feel to mouse

Poor range, flimsy keyboard, somewhat confusing setup, no CAPS etc indicators on keyboard, noisy keys. Plus my keyboard is a little bowed/bent/warped, making it even more flimsy

good, but not high quality

Overall, it is a decent keyboard. Whether or not it is worth the money is completely you opinion. The mouse is not a laser mouse, but it is accurate. Another nice aspect is that the mouse turns off after five minutes of inactivity. To turn it back on,...

I really enjoy the media keys on the keyboard, as well as the turning knob for the volume, as opposed to up and down buttons. The web keys and shortcut are also very nice. The battery life on the keyboard itself is a few months, which is pretty good...

The lightweight makes it feel cheap, which is actually an overall feel for the set. The mouse is also very lightweight, although it is large enough to fit my hand, which I like. The zero key on the numpad sticks if not hit in the right location

I was wrong

Overall a average keyboard. Maybe not worth the money considering the poor key action.

Again as in my previous review, I like the slim profile and overall good looks ; It also works well with the Microsoft's Intellipoint software. And it has nice large keys for people like me who have fat fingers

The keys are a bit klunky. Kind of like the old style of key action ; The set up is very weird. This is why I thought the keyboard was DOA when I first reviewed it. It's all in the set up. You must first press the transceiver button. Then, while it's...

DOA

I hope he replacement works. I like the styling of the keyboard and mouse very much. The trust.com web site is rather rough around the edges. Very little support info.

Great looking keyboard. I like the slim profile of the keyboard. Keys are large and great fit for my fat fingers

This wireless keyboard was DOA. I sent an email to trust.com tech support. No reply to-date. I'm sending back to NewEgg for replacement
