Great for HTPC

I have tried a dozen different HTPC mini keyboards and this one is my favorite. The trackball and mouse keys, scroll wheel are in comfortable places. It lights up bright for night time use. It has great battery life. I use rechargeable's and swap then...

This is great for HTPC use. It's back-lit keys are easy to see at night and the trackball works great. It has forward and back keys and a scroll wheel on the left side that actually works great with the side of your thumb. It has great range. It has a...

The biggest con is the trackball doesn't remove for cleaning. After a year it stopped responding well. I blew compressed air from my air compressor into it and that fixed it. After a while that stopped working and I was going to toss it. Instead I...

Fantastic Gear!

Some people may be having more trouble than me with trackball because of heavy use. I don't think it or the keyboard are designed for full-fledged web surfing and email writing on the TV. I have it for my HTPC, and for what I use it for, signing in,...

Compact. Lightweight. It is backlit, and has a protective cover. The wireless signal is excellent from across the living room, and all keys are very responsive. Have not had one missed character! In about 5 minutes I was comfortable with using it.

Trackball is a little sticky, but with gentle, persistent pressure it is usable. I really like the all in one design with a trackball though.

Too many flaws

I had high hopes for this keyboard. I thought it would be perfect for my HTPC setup. Wrong! The keys are spaced in a way that makes it nearly unusable. I tried to tell myself it's a learning curve, I will get used to it. Too bad the trackball started...

Small Has a protective cover Backlight

Low durability on track ball Keys are spaced poorly

Thought it would be nice

We haven't found a useful, quality HTPC keyboard yet, even after buying three different kinds. These segment of the the computer peripheral business is simply pathetic.

Compact design, backlit keyboard.

Trackball is a piece of junk! For what they get for this unit, a minimally useful trackball is not too much to ask. It's just too small and too slippery to actually work. Who wants to moisten their digit to get this thing to work? A larger, rubberized...

Good product except for Trackball

It does comes with a 3 year warranty which I had to use. My problem was handled to my satisfaction in a timely manner by the IOGEAR. In spite of this problem I give it two eggs since it is handy to have. Hopefully they will re-design the Trackball on...

Compact design with great feature like the wheel for scrolling and the shortcut function keys. Very practical to keep handy rather than the larger wireless keyboards

The Trackball is the major flaw. Found I had to constantly moisten my thumb to get it to work. As others point out the Trackball can't be cleaned. Mine became unusable after about 6 months of daily use

The device works for me.

If you are using the same PC for gaming that you would for this mini keyboard, then you will really want a full size keyboard and mouse.

I use this device on my Entertainment PC that is part of my home audio and video. In a dark room while watching TV/Movies or just web surfing the back light makes it easy to see. The little keyboard fits nicely with the other remotes. The trackball and...

Like in the other reviews I've read, the escape key is an alternate function key that takes a little getting use to. I don't use this keyboard for gaming for very good reasons but I didn't buy it for that anyway.

It's OK to Nice!

After replacing batteries, I haven't had the problems except a couple rare instances. Sometimes you need to follow instructions and press reset key in back. Overall, a neat thing (was frustrating when it wasn't working right, because of the battries)....

Nice little wireless keyboard with built in trackball. Keys work OK. Trackball is OK. Has trackball dpi selection settings.

Backlight could be a little brighter. Had some problems and almost wrote a bad review. Batteries that came with it must have been defective or old (Maxell AA's). It was acting like it had an intermittent signal so the cursor would sometimes stick, and...
