Can't remove keys

I was excited to use this keyboard after reading about how great it was. However, on the third day I got a little salsa on the numpad. So I grabbed a screwdriver and popped the 1, 2, 4 and 5 keys out using the same normal method I'd used for over 15...

Classic design. Interesting ergo technology.

Can't remove keys for cleaning.

Title: Very fine keyboard

The cord comes off the back of the unit (not the bottom). It is not centered, but is 2 1/4 inches from the right side, and is about 5 feet long.

Keyboard preferences vary widely. I like mine with a good tactile feel - slight resistive pressure to start then a smooth quiet (not silent but not with a loud click either) contact. That describes this keyboard pretty accurately, and it's the best one...

The textured finish on my board is slightly non-uniform. It's almost like it endured abnormal thermal stress during manufacturing (a total guess on my part). This effect is slight and not too noticable - you have to be looking for it to see it. It...

Great Keyboard

I am not a touch typist, which is why I rate my tech knowledge at 4, and personally use a Saitek Eclipse (back lite in blue of course) howeverI have built many systems for my clients with this keyboard. For a business get this one.

Defines the standard for business keybaords.

Solid, great touch

After NMB folded, I must have gone through a dozen different types of keyboards without finding one I really liked, until the Designer-P2.

Legal secretaries and transcriptionists have high standards for their keyboards. I bought one of these for the law office I support, and after testing it, everyone on staff wanted one. It was an easy purchase decision that has worked out well. After...

Ok keyboard

Not what I was expecting for the money, so I'm really just a bit disappointed.

Love the layout of the keys and the key lettering looks good.

Not as quiet when typing on it as I expected it to be.

Keyboard for a lifetime

This keyboard will last a lifetime! I was replacing an old computer at work that had a Eurotech keyboard attached to it (basically, this keyboard). The new PC only had USB ports, no PS/2 ports, so I decided to keep the keyboard for myself. It was quite...

Highly Durable

No PS/2 to USB Converter

Not as good as it could be

Keytronic usually makes some really good keyboards. This one was kind of a let down.

Simple, ordinary, and durable. If not for the con I mentioned it would be a perfect keyboard.

Some of the keys stick when you try to press them. They bind up. In video games the arrow keys don't respond quite right.

Buying another one

dishwasher safe. you can disassemble the keyboard and remove the electronics package easily and stick the rest into the dishwasher.

A VERY solid keyboard. it has lasted me for thousands of hours and millions of keystrokes.

KeyTronic - my all-time favorite keyboard

I fooled around with two Logitech keyboards after my last KeyTronic keyboard. Until I find something better, I'm going to stick with this for a while.

Amazingly crisp tactile response, reminiscent of those old IBM or Apple "click" keyboards albeit not as obnoxious acoustically.

Minor gripe: although the letters are engraved into each key -- this is much better than stickers that some mfrs use -- they're not filled in as neatly as I'd have hoped.

Best Keyboard for Typing

5 years and this keyboard just continues to Go. I'm a Software developer and I type all day. The Apple Extended Keyboard II was the best keyboard I've used until now. Of course you can't get Apple Extended Keyboard II. But even if I could, I'd choose...

No USB so I had to buy a ps2 to usb adapter. Please Keytronic, Make a USB version, or even include the adapter, then is is best of class.
