Razer BlackWidow Lite review: A highly portable mechanical keyboard

This TKL keyboard is pricey, but it has a convenient lightweight design and a removable cable

Great portable design ; Very quiet with rubber O-rings installed ; Highly customisable through software

Expensive ; Switches don’t feel as nice as the Cherry MX equivalents ; No wrist rest included

Personally, though I’d opt for the Corsair Gaming K63, instead: it’s £30 cheaper, has dedicated media keys, and maintains the TKL form-factor. Or, for around the same price as the BlackWidow Lite, consider the Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma...

Razer BlackWidow Lite review: Yes, Razer made a keyboard for work

Razer is better known for its flashy gaming gear, but the BlackWidow Lite is made for the office.

Orange switches feel great to type on ; Bright LED lighting ; Light weight and detachable cable makes it easy to transport ; Tasteful, modern design; good build quality

ABS keycaps will shine easily ; Attracts dust ; O-rings silence switch presses, but make them feel mushy

Light enough to carry in your bag and snappy enough for a great typing experience, the BlackWidow Lite is a great choice for business people on the go.

Razer BlackWidow Lite Review: A Gaming Keyboard for the Office

My recommendation for office workers who want a keyboard upgrade remains the same as before: get a full-size gaming keyboard. But if that's not possible due to price or space constraints, the BlackWidow Lite is a proficient second choice. From squeaky...

Unobtrusive design ; Decent mechanical switches ; Not too expensive

Squeaky, cramped keys ; Few useful extras ; Missing helpful productivity features

The Razer BlackWidow Lite is a welcome addition to the lineup and a smart investment for gamers who need to get some work done.
