This notebook offers a great combination of features

The price ; Impressive battery life ; A good bunch of components bar the processor ; Has an optical disc drive

Feeble processing power ; Non-removable battery ; A lot of bloatware ; Annoying screen glare

The Acer Aspire ES1-512 shows that you can actually get more than you bargained for, especially if you manage to purchase this machine during flash sales.

I was recommended this specific model by a friend who works in IT and describes Apple products as 'an expensive lifestyle choice for people who know little about technology.'

The mouse pad takes a while to get used to. Lots of bloatware annoying to the digitally hygienic. No light for caplock just a brief display of change on screen. Ditto Numlock.

Good vivid screen and quite good performance for a budget laptop, good spec with 1Tb H/D and 4 Gb memory

The mouse pad buttons are hard to find on the pad as its all one square pad there are no seperate right and left buttons, this is my only comment

The bloatware that arrived with the product took a while to remove but was worth it for the increase in start up speed
