Acer Chromebook 13 CB713 review: Looks but not longevity

 

Impressive screen and value, but weak battery life means the Chromebook falls just short of an award

Luxury quality build ; Fantastic screen resolution ; Solid sound quality

Poor battery life ; Distracting noise from the fan

At a higher price the Acer’s weaknesses might be fatal, but for just over £500 it’s actually good value. If it had more stamina, it would walk away with top honours.

Acer Chromebook 13 (CB713) review: A great Chromebook - for a limited time

 

You won't have long to enjoy the Acer Chromebook 13 as the battery is dreadful

Beautiful display: Fast booting

Terrible battery life; Random glitches; Dull design

Acer's clamshell Chromebook may be dull on the outside but the luminous display is full of colour - just don't expect to work on it for very long
