ACER Nitro 5 15.6" AMD Ryzen 5 RX 560X Gaming Laptop - 1 TB HDD & 128 GB SSD

Fast boot up and fast with the software i use.

Maybe a bigger SSD and have a DVD on board. A fourth USB port would have been useful for my particular set up when operating at my desk when i back up to DVD.

Ssd,design

When playing certain games with the keyboard on top of the keyboard the screen goes black and you can't use it until it's cool down

ACER Nitro 5 15.6" AMD Ryzen 5 RX 560X Gaming Laptop - 1 TB HDD & 128 GB SSD

A really great price point for someone who wants a gaming laptop but is not willing to shell out the big bucks. It meets minimum specs for 90%+ of games and that suits me fine. Screen looks good, sound is good, the SSD means it is very quick.

It is bulky with a poor battery life but that is to be expected at this price point.

It's a very nice looking laptop and when running is very smooth.

I've had this laptop for approx 3 weeks and it's crashed on me 3-4 times. I don't expect to see this on a fairly expensive laptop.

ACER Nitro 5 15.6" AMD Ryzen 5 RX 560X Gaming Laptop - 1 TB HDD & 128 GB SSD

Quick and reliable. Is able to run new titles with settings on low/medium at a playable FPS. Anything slightly older or less intensive runs with ease. General use is slick and fluent.

In some games it'll use the Vega 8 APU by default instead of the RX 560x so needs to be set manually in the radeon panel. Annoying but not the end of the world.
