Asus Lamborghini VX2

Don your shades and strap yourself in as we take the Asus Lamborghini VX2 for a spin.

You'll either love or hate the look of the Asus Lamborghini VX2 but there's no denying the quality of its build or the strength of its components. It's not the fastest thing around for gaming but for general use and casual gaming this is a serious...

Asus Lamborghini VX2 review

Forget Ferrari. Go for a Lambo instead

Exclusive branding ; Great screen and graphics ; Fast and powerful

Screen doesn't fasten shut ; Quite heavy

The performance befits the name, but leave aside this sales gimmick and it's a good, but not great, laptop

Asus Lamborghini VX2 laptop

Cars and laptops obviously make good bed-fellow if Asus' latest Lamborghini-badged model is anything to go by.

ASUS Lamborghini VX2

The VX2 is a collaborative effort between ASUS and Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini, and it's aimed at those of who want to own a prestigious and ...

Solid construction, comfortable to use, good multitasking and media-encoding performance, excellent battery life

Speakers aren't loud enough, touchpad buttons are too shallow, very noticeable vibration from optical drive

Overall, the Lamborghini VX2 is solidly constructed and has good features and speed for everyday tasks, and some gaming. The Lamborghini styling is a real head-turner and, ultimately, it's what you're paying for.

Asus G2S User Review

As a student and frequent PC gamer, I wanted a notebook with powerful components capable of gaming, a large 17” screen, and a reasonable price. Mobility wasn't a dominating factor as the notebook would be on my desk most of the time, while occasionally...

Good, solid build ; Very attractive and stylish ; Relatively quiet ; Great gaming and application performance ; Gorgeous WUXGA screen ; Great keyboard

It's heavy, even for its class ; Lots of heat ; Missing a DVI port ; Touchpad buttons need too much pressure and are loud ; Very average speakers

Since I have had no problems so far, I can’t comment on Asus Support. With Canada Computers though, I am confident that they would be easy to deal with and helpful, as I've already experienced this when purchasing the notebook

Asus Lamborghini VX2

The VX2 is a well-styled good performer that comes at a very steep cost and thereby fails to impress.

ASUS Lamborghini VX2

It may not have Fernando Alonso behind the wheel, but the latest Lamborghini laptop looks like it has the pure muscle to snap benchmarks in two and still have time to grab a beer and pizza.

Outlook The ASUS Lamborghini VX2 offers pure computing muscle in a stylish and attractive (if somewhat USB-stingy) design. However, those not impressed enough to fork out AU$4200 to be associated with the famous race car brand may prefer cheaper...

When we took the VX1 for a test drive in November, we were impressed. ASUS has returned though with an update, appropriately called the VX2. It includes revamped styling, a much more appropriate video card, a fingerprint reader and high-end webcam. If...

After using the VX2 for two weeks, I am impressed overall. As a primary computer, it will suit you well thanks to it's great specs. It's good for gaming, multimedia and even getting some work done. This was the third ASUS laptop we've taken a look at,...
