ASUS Q200E-BCL0803E

Great price for the portability of this small refurbed ultrabook. I mainly use it for word processing, web browsing, and a bit of music playing. It boots very quickly. Battery life seems good - I can usually have it unplugged for at least 6 hours while...

I don't use the touch screen much. It seems fine to operate, but it's really only useful if you do most of your computing in the Windows 8 interface with its apps. You can't swipe between programs if you work from the desktop as in past versions of...

Pretty decent

Touchscreen, great stereo speakers that are plenty loud, good keyboard, thin and light

This particular form factor (11.6" "Vivobook" type case) is still in use by ASUS, virtually unchanged. Yes, you can buy the same type of computer new for over double the price with an i5 processor but if you want a reasonably snappy machine with...

excellent out of the box ; snappy performance ; best bang for the buck ; ASUS legendary reliability and compatibility ; Windows 8 + touchscreen ; 3 USB ports

ASUS Q200E-BSI3T08 Notebook

I bought this machine because I needed a cheap laptop for travel, with a good size hard drive and SD card slot to dump photos. I switched out the OS for Windows 7 out of preference, and so far it's running smooth. My only complaint is the slow hard...
