Asus Zenbook UX303LA

A £700 Ultrabook that punches above its weight

Good-looking metal design ; Fast Core i7 processor ; Good battery life ; Impressive keyboard and trackpad

Slightly thick and heavy ; Poor screen quality ; Competitors are longer-lasting

The speakers surprised us. We expect slim, light laptops to have tinny, weak audio, but the Asus delivered punchy music. The mid-range was meaty, and the high-end proved snappy but not overwhelming. There’s a little bass there too, which helps round...

Asus Zenbook UX303LA Subnotebook Review

Well-rounded indeed. The Zenbook doesn't just impress with its looks alone. The subnotebook also delights with good input devices, a long battery life and low emissions.

Bright and matte IPS display, Quiet, Doesn't get very hot, Good input devices, Fast SSD, Open mSATA slot, Very good battery life

Inferior webcam, Display lacks contrast

The Asus Zenbook UX303LA-R4342H is a compact and mobile 13.3-inch subnotebook. For all intents and purposes, we could just reiterate our verdict with which we concluded the review of the UX303LN-sibling. The notebook offers enough processing power for...

Review: Asus Zenbook UX303LA

The first outing for Intel's Broadwell chips hits a high note, with great stamina and a reasonable price.

Beware Compatibility Issues

Buyer beware. This is a great little ultrabook however most desktop designed software WILL NOT DISPLAY properly on this thing. After hours of playing with windows scaling, resolution changes etc Adobe CS6 software and Quickbooks Pro 2016 toolbars,...

High resolution, very fast and responsive, super lightweight

Incompatible with most software

Solid Asus ultrabook

I returned the laptop after a week, hinge was making noise. Looks nice but you can not make use of touchscreen. I wish it could flipped 360.

-Looks like apple mac air -Light and small -Nice Aluminum finish and solid. -High resolution -i5 5200u, 8gb and 256ssd. Fast enough for most applications. -No dvd -Silent

-Sharp corners hurt after a while when typing. -Touchscreen is useless since it does not flip 360 degree. -Hinges might be problem. Mine was making noise when moving.

Better display and expandability than expected!

Runs Linux Mint Cinnamon edition fine. Weight is minimal. The fan rarely is audible. Display is great--bright and legible. Works with a Crucial 16GB SO-DIMM, for a total of 20GB of memory, and a Crucial 960GB SSD, making this a better computer than my...

It shipped with Windows 8.

Very nice affordable ultra book!

Keyboard does not have the numpad keys, obviously due to the size of the laptop and I understand that, but coming from a laptop that had it, I now realize how often I used it. I can supplement with a USB add-on, if I decide I need to, no big deal. Case...

Screen: Very high resolution, nice viewing angles, multi-touch, usually plenty bright, 96 lines of code in visual studio at 100% Touchpad: Multi touch gestures are nice Keyboard: Feels great, nice and responsive, for my tastes. The backlight is...

Screen: 13" screen is great overall size, but at the highest resolution, it definitely feels small. In very bright rooms, the screen can feel not quite bright enough. Not sure why, but when the screen is white, I can barely make out a diamond pattern....

Great Deal

Asus sent the wrong charger with the laptop. I called Newegg support when I realized that it was not correct, but they said the only things I could do were send everything back and get a replacement laptop + charger or talk to Asus. Unfortunately, by...
