MSI CX620 019NE

Another sunny day and the promise of more have put us in the mood for another review.

Design innovation ; Materials ; Display ; Hardware ; Focus on the needs of the office worker ; Price ; Keyboard with Numlock

Touchpad button ; Battery ; No HDMI

MSI have aimed for the starts with this product, and much good has come of that. It is a slightly large model, perhaps, but that gives you a large display which is excellent to work on. The weight is alright, but the device is not exactly light. Still,...

MSI CX620 notebook

MSI CX620 review: A laptop with a Blu-ray drive and dual graphics adapters

Good overall performance in our tests, decent build quality, HDMI, Blu-ray player

Poor layout for ports and slots, annoying keyboard, screen too glossy, sluggish hard drive

MSI's CX620 has a Blu-ray player and provides good performance overall, but it's not a great notebook. We'd revamp the keyboard, the layout of the ports and the screen, and give it a faster hard drive as well.

Review MSI CX620MX Notebook

Energy waster. GPU Boost with ATI HD 545V, eSATA and rear interfaces allow this affordable 15.6 inch notebook to raise the interest of several buyers. Will occasional gamers also be satisfied? Do the hybrid-graphics extend the battery life?

Good Performance, Quiet for Office Use, Interfaces at the Rear, eSATA & ExpressCard34, At last interfaces on the rear. This provides for order on the desktop

Bad 3D-Performance, Short Battery Life, High Idle Energy Consumption, Low Contrast, Viewing Angles, Heat Dissipation and Noise under High Load, Bad Manufacturing Quality, Bad Touchpad Buttons, No Multi-Touchpad, A matte palm resting area, and better...

MSI CX620

Switchable graphics processor. Comfortable weight. Full sized keyboard.

Plastic feel. Fan noise. Had to close most programs for switchable graphics processor to work. 32-bit Windows.

As a budget laptop, the MSI CX620 does a reasonable job. The inclusion of Windows 7 32-bit and the inferior ATI graphics switching are annoyances, but then for AU$1099, we can almost forgive the shortcomings.

MSI CX620

We got 3 units of MSI notebooks powered by the latest Intel Core i3 processors (CX620, CR420 and CX420) but despite having varying form factors and configurations, they all basically look alike. As such, we'll start the review of the MSI CX620 and go...

The MSI CX620 is one of the more affordable yet capable laptops running a Core i3 processor couple with a discreet graphics. The suggested retail price of Php39,990 is very competitive for its specs.

Not Worth It

This was my first lap top after years of building my own desktop systems. I'd hate to say it, but this is an instance where I would have been happier spending the extra cash on a name brand laptop.

Not Many

I am continuously experiencing issues with this laptop. My guess is that the software and oem that come bundled with this system are garbage. I've have to run system restore, as well as the msi restore disks more times than I'd like to care. Either the...
