Dell's latest rev of its Inspiron 3000 2-in-1 is a bare-budget, functional Windows 10 convertible, but even at the $329 price of our test model, the build quality and speed leave much to be desired.

Inexpensive full Windows 10 system. Compact convertible build. Appealing color.

Slow all-around performance. 720p panel. Visible warping on screen edges when panel is touched or moved. Cheap-feeling keyboard. Brief battery life.

Bottom Line: Dell's latest rev of its Inspiron 3000 2-in-1 is a bare-budget, functional Windows 10 convertible, but even at the $329 price of our test model, the build quality and speed leave much to be desired.

This Pentium-powered convertible is priced right, but be prepared to accept some compromises in construction and performance.

Handles the basics well ; Very good price-to-performance ratio ; Versatile

Keyboard deck flexes too easily ; Under-responsive keyboard ; No RJ-45 port for Ethernet

If the design suits you, the Inspiron 11-3147 fills both its tablet and laptop roles well at an attractive price.
