Dell Latitude E7280 Ultra Slim Laptop Review

Over the past 18 months we've reviewed quite a few Dell laptops, from the award winning XPS13 range to the business class Latitude models… all of which impressed us, surprisingly.

Compact and Light-weight ; Masses of connectivity ; USB-C (multi-pupose – Displayport, Thunderbolt and power charging) ; No docking connectors on the bottom of laptop

Older 6th Gen Intel Core processor

The Dell Latitude E7280 is a compact, light-weight ultrabook that measures only 17.05mm (H) x 304.8mm (W) x 207.9mm (D), and weighing in at only 1.18Kg. It has tons of options for connectivity, which is vital for any business user.

Dell Latitude 7280

Business users will appreciate the Dell Latitude 7280's briefcase-space-saving size and impressive battery life, as well as the wealth of connectivity it offers in its small chassis.

Excellent battery life. Plenty of ports including HDMI, Ethernet, and Thunderbolt 3. Snappy keyboard.

Micro instead of standard SD card slot. Sound gets fuzzy when turned up.

Dell Latitude 12 7000 (7280) Review and Ratings

It's not exactly sleek, but the Latitude 7280 is a fast slab of an business ultraportable with a fine combination of durability, speed, and—especially—battery life.

Rugged, all-metal chassis ; Strong Core i7 performance, in test model ; Outstanding battery life ; Three-year warranty is standard

Pricey, as tested ; Battery is not user-replaceable ; Touch pad is tight

If you don’t require the thinnest, sleekest ultrabook and your enterprise will sign off on its steep price, the Dell Latitude 7280 has the goods to serve you well for a long time. Just mention "lifespan" and "ROI" to whomever in your office controls...
