Fujitsu Lifebook U772 Ultrabook review

We noticed that the harder the U772 ran, the more noise it made. It has one fan that's located in the left side of the base and it makes a very audible whirring sound when it quickly pushes air through the left exhaust vent. We think that if used in...

The ingredients are there for the Fujitsu Lifebook U772 to be a class-leading Ultrabook. It has all the right features, an impressively slim and light design, as well as good looks. Unfortunately, it doesn't provide a good overall user experience. Its...

Fujitsu Lifebook U772 Ultrabook review

The Fujitsu Lifebook U772 offers plenty of features and good style, but user comfort is not one of its strong points

Nice style and build quality ; Very small power adapter ; Good range of features (especially for business users)

Poor keyboard ; Touchpad buttons ; Screen's vertical viewing angles ; Noisy

Fujitsu's U772 Ultrabook looks good and has plenty of features, but it offers a poor overall user experience that's inexcusable for a premium notebook with such a high price tag. It needs a better screen, keyboard and touchpad, pronto, and a quieter...

Fujitsu Lifebook U772

The Fujitsu Lifebook U772 boasts all the features you would expect from a premium business ultrabook, along with a sharp-looking design and all-day battery life.

Intel Core i7 processing. 128GB solid-state drive. Plenty of features for business and security.

Inertial scrolling takes some getting used to. Glassy, glare-prone display. Ethernet requires clunky adapter. Mushy keys.

Review Fujitsu LifeBook U772 Ultrabook

Big screen, compact laptop. With its new Lifebook U772, Fujitsu launches a 15.6 mm (0.6 inches) thin ultrabook in a 13-inch case on the market. A highlight is the 14-inch screen installed in the chassis. Our review reveals whether these very promising...

Moderate brightness, Keyboard, Very limited maintenance options, Undersized cooling system, As so often, a brighter and outdoor suitable screen. Also, this Lifebook doubtlessly lacks a pleasant to type on keyboard

Fujitsu Lifebook U772 Review: Don't Judge An Ultrabook By Its Cover

This is one of the classiest Ultrabooks we've laid eyes on to date - but can that make up for its subpar keyboard and high price tag? Read our full review to find out.

Beautiful design ; Excellent performance ; Business-friendly features

Terrible keyboard ; Poor screen ; Expensive ; Weak speaker (yes, there's just one)

Fujitsu Lifebook U772

The Lifebook U772 is a bad choice for both businesses and consumers.

Aggressive, attractive design. 3G WWAN module. Gigabit Ethernet. Good performance.

Uninspiring screen. Terrible keyboard. Keyboard isn't backlit. Creates quite a whine under load.

Despite admirable performance and good battery life, an uninspiring screen, terrible keyboard and high price keeps us from recommending the U772 to either consumers or businesses.

Fujitsu Lifebook U772 review – the business ultrabook

The Fujitsu LifeBook U772 is only one of the few business ultrabooks out there and it meets customers with fabulous looks and solid build quality, plus the productivity and the features clients in corporate environments need. It has its flaws though...

astonishing looks and build quality, accurate keyboard and trackpad, non-glare screen with a thin bezel, plenty of ports, 3G, docking connector and other business features bundled

average battery life, stiff trackpad, only a HD ready screen with rather poor viewing angles, on the pricey side

In the end, I can conclude that the Fujitsu Lifebook U772 is a good ultrabook, definitely one of the best in terms of features and possibly one of the best overall.
