Google Pixelbook Go Review | Trusted Reviews

The Pixelbook Go is a new high-end Chromebook from Google, with a design and performance that could rival a laptop, despite the more affordable price

Fantastic keyboard;Attractive, understated look;Impressive battery life;Android apps on Chrome can be useful (even if buggy)

Can get far too expensive if you upgrade the specs ;No fingerprint scanner/facial unlock;Have to get the top model if you want a 4K screen

Google Pixelbook Go review: A sublime Chromebook experience

There's very little about the Pixelbook we don't like. It's nimble, lovely to use and looks great, plus it's speedy and not as pricey as predecessors.

Lovely design that's lightweight and attractive ; Speedy performance ; Not as pricey as previous Pixelbooks ; Great keyboard

Android app support is still ropey ; Trackpad isn't the best

Nimble, lovely to use and great looking, the Pixelbook Go is speedy and has a battery that lasts all day. It might still be a bit more expensive than other brands' Chromebooks, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than previous Pixelbook models, which we...

Google Pixelbook Go review: Simply, the best Chromebook you can buy

Strikes the perfect balance between performance, portability and usability – the Pixelbook Go is brilliant

Brilliant keyboard ; Amazing battery life ; Lightweight and slim

Viewing angles aren’t great ; A touch expensive ; Only uses an 8th gen Intel CPU

That’s what tips the balance in favour of a five star Best Buy award for me. With battery life this good and a keyboard this usable, I’ve found myself searching for reasons why I wouldn’t use Pixelbook Go over any other laptop.

Google Pixelbook Go review

No better time to get your head in the cloud

10 hour+ battery ; lovely deisgn ; lightweight ; silent keyboard ; excellent webcam

not the best specs ; there are cheaper alternatives

If you want a light and stylish laptop and spend most of your time in the cloud, it’s for you.

Google Pixelbook Go Review: A Playful Clamshell

Playful design ; Runs cool ; Long battery life

Fussy touchpad ; Stops being affordable above base model ; Hush keyboard is divisive ; Should be a 2-in-1 for some Android apps

The Google Pixelbook Go is a playful Chromebook with long battery life, but it’s not affordable above the base model and the touchpad can be fussy.

Google Pixelbook Go review: The Chromebook you should buy

The original Pixelbook was beautiful, but a bit too expensive. The new Pixelbook Go takes a different approach. It starts at a more affordable $649, without sacrificing build quality or performance. Is this the first Google Chromebook that's actually...

Portable design ; Bright, colorful display ; Speakers are impressive ; Excellent battery life

Google Pixelbook Go review: Function over form

Google's most affordable Chromebook yet is a solid all-around laptop. It's not as eye-catching as the original Pixelbook, and Google cut a few corners to get the price down (most notably the display).. But the Pixelbook Go covers the basics well and...

Excellent keyboard ; Good performance and battery life ; The Chrome OS platform is solid and stable ; Thin and light design with strong build quality

Display isn’t as good as the original Pixelbook ; Trackpad isn’t the smoothest ; Slightly expensive for a Chromebook ; It’s a bit boring to look at

Yes, you can still get a Chromebook for less money than what Google is asking. But if you think a Chromebook can be your main computer and don't mind paying a little extra for a device that's thin, light and well-engineered, the Pixelbook Go will...
