Great laptop for the money. Good performance from the basic 'Pentium' processor. Very fast to boot - just 10 seconds or so to get to the desktop. Generous 6GB RAM and 750GB HDD. Lovely keyboard, much prefer it to those that try to cram in a number-pad...

The performance of the integrated graphics is OK, but it will not be suitable for gamers.

Solid build quality, surprisingly good performance, generous 750GB HDD, easy to upgrade memory if required.

A nightmare to configure - Windows Update required hours of work to get it to Version 8.1.

Well made, runs slick. Decent combination of hardware and good quality screen. Ideal for students.

Battery could be a bit better but helped with the efficient i3 processor.

As a first time buyer of a laptop, my ratings could be a little off in comparison but I hope what I share helps. Battery Life: It lasts as long as it does on a performance level, so it depends on what you do with it. Design: Smooth design and feel to...

These bad points are of a personal preference and do not effect the actual score of the laptop. Battery Life: None Design: Could ask for the keyboard to be a little bigger as my hands are quite large and can sometimes be a little uncomfortable when...

A lot of machine for the money

Unfortunately it comes with Windows 8 - which you then have to update yourself to Windows 8.1 in order to have a shut down button. Windows 8/8.1 does take a while to understand in order to allow user to navigate and utilise functions.

Performs very well after removing a lot of bundled software, but that's true for most laptops with pre-installed software.

None really, battery life is a little poor, but again, that can be common to most laptops.
