HP Compaq 6715b Business Notebook review

Unlike the other notebooks in this group with 15.4in screens, the Compaq's has a resolution of 1,680x1,050 pixels.

The Compaq has the highest-resolution screen, but it's not good enough for image editing. The high-resolution screen is useful when working with several applications simultaneously but you'll have to put up with its disappointing image quality and the...

For the small business on a limited budget, the Compaq 6715b is worth looking at, as it offers a good set of features including some serious security. It all comes for a decent price, although weighing as much as it does, it may be limited in its...

HP Compaq 6910p laptop PC

The HP Compaq 6910p is a quality laptop we enjoyed testing. HP has positioned it as a business laptop, and it fills that role rather well.

While it would be nice to see HP get more creative by bringing some of its consumer innovations to its business lineup, as a business laptop the HP Compaq 6910p stacks up well with the Lenovo ThinkPads of the world and its other competitors in the...

HP Compaq 6910p Review

The 6910p is squarely in the business notebook category, this means there is no sacrifice made when it comes to security and communications features you'd want to have as a business person. Our review model has integrated Verizon EV-DO and you can get...

Solid build, light enough to easily carry, pleasing design though nothing flashy ; Excellent wireless connectivity options ; Great performance with Intel Santa Rosa platform ; Reasonable price ; Generous 3-year warranty

Can't configure online to your precise liking ; Plastic insert instead of a flap for PC card slot ; Touch sensitive buttons are not very responsive ; No good dedicated graphics options available to support DX10

Overall it can be said that with the Compaq 6910p, HP has designed a well rounded 14.1" screen portable business notebook that leaves little to complain about and many things to like

HP 6715S

I don't like Vista, so I was elated to find something which still had XP Pro! I like the layout on the keyboard very much.

It goes into "sleep mode" too quickly. I cannot work out how to change it. Probably my fault, I am a technophobe

HP Compaq Business 6715b GB837ET

Superb screen with very high resolution allowing working with documents side by side. Positive, soft-touch keyboard and especially mouse buttons. Scrollbar on touchpad. HP/Compaq design and build quality shows everywhere.

Touchpad a little sensitive, converting a sliding movement to a tap rather too readily. Slider for volume control difficult to set precisely. No separate number pad. Nit-picking, though
