HP Compaq nc6400 (RH576ET)

If you want a good size screen and integrated 3G from your business notebook then you need to look at the nc6400.

A trackpoint and trackpad combination, fingerprint and smart card readers and integrated HSDPA 3G Broadband make the ncare all highlights on the nc6400. The screen is better suited for work rather than entertainment and there's no Express card or...

HP Compaq nc6400 review

HP's Compaq nc6400 has a large 14.1in display, but the downside is its increased weight and size.

The nc6400 is powerful, but it's let down by its size and weight. We're also disappointed that it doesn't include a DVD writer.

Business review: HP Compaq nc6400

Business review: HP Compaq nc6400HP's light yet powerful nc6400 laptop shows the benefits of built-in 3G

Good connectivity ; decent-sized screen ; relatively light

Battery life noticeably shortened by Wi-Fi use

HP's nc6400 puts always-on wireless connectivity into a laptop that is light enough to be carried without being a burden, yet large enough to run full-blown Windows apps.

A very well built and feature-rich laptop which pulls together good performance and great battery life for a decent price. The icing on the cake is the built-in security that HP has added to the nc6400.

HP Compaq nc6400

HP's latest thin and light laptop won't weigh you down and has built-in EV-DO to keep you connected wherever you go.

Lightweight. Integrated EV-DO. Good set of security features.

Pointing stick is far behind Lenovo's TrackPoint. You'll need to upgrade the RAM.
