HP G62-b18SA review

The G62 borrows design elements from previous HP laptops, but thankfully loses some of the faults, such as the dodgy all-in-one touchpad that put us off the dv6-3065ea. It includes a Core i3 processor, an internal optical drive and a spacious 15.6in...

Solid construction screen and enough performance for everyday tasks at an extremely attractive price.

HP Pavilion G62-454TU laptop

HP Pavilion G62-454TU review: A cheap 15.6in notebook with good features, performance and battery life

Feels reasonably solid, looks good, good performance for office and multimedia tasks, good battery life

Screen has narrow viewing angles, screen too glossy, touchpad feels the same as the palmrest, touchpad buttons are hard to press, initial setup was not smooth

The HP Pavilion G62-454TU notebook is perfect for families, students and new computer users who want something cheap, yet with good performance. It has an Intel Pentium CPU under the hood, but it will do a good job running office and multimedia tasks....

HP G62-435DX

The HP G62-534DX is a stripped down budget laptop, but with similarly priced systems offering so much more, there's not much to recommend it.

Comfortable keyboard. Card reader supports several formats. Dual-layer DVD burner. Best Buy offers decent extended warranties.

Frustrating, stiff touchpad. Disappointing speakers. Weak performance across the board. Unattractive design. Small hard drive.

The HP G62-355dx is an affordable desktop replacement laptop, but you get what you pay for with this laptop.

Very affordable. Comfortable keyboard. Bright display.

Sluggish performance. So-so battery life. Stingy feature set.

HP G62-223cl

The HP G62-223cl is an inexpensive mainstream laptop, but you can find a faster one for about the same price.

Fast hard drive. Inexpensive. Lightweight. Matte lid is smudge-resistant. Costco's two year warranty is standard.

Running on last year's processors. Quicklaunch keys are oddly placed. Mouse buttons are too resistant. Below average performance scores.
