HP Spectre x360

The HP Spectre x360 is a slim and light laptop designed for extreme portability. Not only does the hinge let the screen flip all the way around for easy propping-up or use when there's not much room, it's also very light and has fantastic battery life.

HP Spectre x360 review: Shaken, not stirred

We've long heard Apple lauded for its laptop ranges, but the Cupertino company has arguably taken its eye off the ball of late: the MacBook Air looks a bit stale these days and the MacBook Pro hasn't changed much in a few years . At first glance the HP...

Good value, solid performance, versatile hinge, classy design, strong battery life

Weedy speakers, a shade heavier than some, entry-level model has 4GB RAM

At first glance the HP Spectre x360 may seem to rely on gimmicky extras a little too much. A 360-degree hinge, ultra-wide trackpad and touchscreen may put off some people who are just out for a long-lasting, slim laptop.

HP Spectre x360 (2015) review

A sublimely thin 2-in-1 laptop that's almost perfect

Superbly thin ; Vibrant, bright display ; Excellent performance and battery life

Too heavy to use as a tablet ; Weird, wide trackpad

The HP Spectre x360 has all the makings of a great 2-in-1 machine with a stylish chassis and excellent screen that make it deserving of high marks, but weight issues are a concern.

HP Spectre x360 hands-on review

With a revolving design which enabled the laptop to transform into different modes, the HP Spectre x360 is a rival to Lenovo's Yoga range –in particular, the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. What we do know already, and unusually so, is that the x360 will be priced...

Our initial impression is that the HP Spectre x360 is a decent looking rival to the Macbook Air and Yoga 3 Pro. Pending our lab tests, the firm looks to have done a great a job of packing good specs in a desirable aluminium chassis at an affordable...

HP Spectre x360 review

HP is looking to put a new spin on a well-established idea with the Spectre x360. This new-for-2015 Windows hybrid laptop doesn't break any new ground -- its foldback hinge allows for easy conversion to "tablet" mode -- the combination of premium metal...

The HP Spectre x360 has a solid aluminum body, smooth 360-degree hinges, an excellent display and very long battery life.

It's heavier than a MacBook Air, and like many similar hybrids, it leaves the keyboard exposed in tablet mode. Higher-end screen options could limit battery life.

The HP Spectre x360 delivers a high-end, flexible Windows laptop design at a mainstream price with a battery that runs all day.

HP Spectre x360 laptop review

While it might sound a bit like a Bond villain, the HP Spectre x360 laptop promises to be as sharp as one of Q's gadgets, boasting a 360 degree rotating display, a slick aluminium chassis and a claimed battery life of around 12 hours. Can it live up to...

Microsoft and HP have worked closely on the Windows 8.1-toting Spectre x360 and it shows in a number of areas. It boasts fast performance, thanks to its 2.2GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD, and it doesn’t cost the earth either, at...

As an overall solid all-arounder laptop, the Spectre x360 is a decent work machine that can twist around and rotate into play mode, but it does have a few issues. Its weight is one such problem, as it doesn’t make for a comfortable tablet to hold, and...

The Spectre x360 is a solid aluminium effort from HP that looks premium, feels fast and sports a mighty huge trackpad that you’ll probably miss if you move on from it. Its top-notch battery life makes up for its relative heft, and it’s a relatively...

HP Spectre x360

The Spectre x360 notebook is not just a head turner, it's also a winner on many other fronts as well.

Beautiful,Terrific screen, Thin and portable, Great battery life

Batery not user replaceable, No Ethernet port

In the spirit of saving the best for last, I would have expected that, with the high performance Core i7, the notebook’s battery life might have taken a bit of a dip. Not so here, as the battery life is simply outstanding. You can expect up to 12 hours...
