Lenovo B50 review

Lenovo B50-50 80S2000QGE Notebook Review

Dark screen. Lenovo delivers a basic office laptop furnished with a Core i3 processor dubbed B50-50. The manufacturer demands a price of just below 450 Euros (~$506). The laptop is cheaper when Windows 10 is not needed.

Core i3 processor ; plenty of storage ; low noise ; low temperatures

12 month warranty only ; no maintenance hatch ; poor sounding mono-speaker ; Fast Ethernet only

Lenovo delivers a fundamental, 15.6-inch office laptop called B50-50. The installed Core i3 processor is more than enough for office and Internet applications. It still has enough reserves. The laptop always runs quietly and hardly heats up. There is...

Lenovo B50 Review: A Touchscreen All-In-One PC With Some Guts

The Lenovo B50 is a standard all-in-one PC in many ways. The beefy processor and discrete graphics are not quite so standard. This is the Lenovo B50 review.

All-in-one PC's with discrete graphics are rare. The B50 has this, and a beefy processor/RAM to take advantage of it.

Even with discrete graphics, this isn't going to replace a full-blown gaming rig. I doubt that most looking for an all-in-one PC would expect it to.

Lenovo B50 Touch Review

Featuring a big, rich display and solid speakers, the $1,399 Lenovo B50 Touch does everything a quality, family-friendly all-in-one should do. Its 23.8-inch full-HD screen is ideal for movies and touch games, and its strong CPU and graphics performance...

Crisp, full-HD display ; Strong CPU and graphics performance ; Loud JBL speakers

Pricey ; Stiff keyboard ; Some may want to wait for RealSense version

The Lenovo B50 Touch is a powerful and attractive family all-in-one, if you're willing to pay a premium for it.

SSD drive means super performance

Too chunky

Lenovo B50-50 80S20002UK

SSD Drive makes it a good quick laptop particularly on startup. Good slim design but still has DVD drive and all the normal ports you would expect on a thicker and heavier laptop. Excellent value for money.

SSD drive is only 128gb which is perfect for business use but would fill up quite quickly if being used to download films or large files. If being used for big files you would need to have an external drive to store your data after a relatively short...

Lenovo B50-50 80S20002UK

It's cheap. Easy to set up and use.

It's cheap so it's a bit flimsy but at the price you can't really complain.

Very satisfied overall

As a right hander - I find having to plug in mouse and printer into to left hand side of the laptop and wrap the wires round the back to keep them out of the way inconvenient
