Lenovo IdeaPad 100-15 Notebook Review

Superfluous. Despite a frugal CPU, Lenovo's 15.6-inch notebook only manages poor battery runtimes. With a price tag of around 400 Euros (~ $446), it cannot really be called a bargain either.

passive cooling

poor battery runtimes, only one year warranty, only Fast-Ethernet

Lenovo charges around 400 Euros (~$446) for the IdeaPad 100-15IBY – a steep price for a simple office notebook. The positive aspects are the processor, which is powerful enough for office and web applications, and thanks to the passive cooling...

The Lenovo IdeaPad 100 is a budget laptop designed for students and others who need a basic laptop for basic needs. It is very obviously made of plastic and the battery life is nothing to write home about. It won’t, however, break the bank and there’s...

Low-cost Core i3. Laptops from the low-cost sector are mostly equipped with Braswell processors or AMD APUs nowadays. Neither of these is the strongest of their kind. Lenovo has taken a different approach and installed a Core i3 processor from the...

Core i3 processor, low price, plenty of storage, low operating noise, low temperature development

The IdeaPad comes with a Core i3 processor that should fulfil the needs of most users. Almost 350 Euros (~$390) is demanded for the device. The laptop usually runs quietly and barely heats up. Furthermore, the user has plenty of storage capacity: A 1...

I bought this as a gift for my partner who is a bit of a novice with IT. I initially set up the laptop then passed it over, he loves it, it's so nice to use from the large clear screen to the tactile keys. He's had absolutely no problems with it. It's...
