Lenovo G570 M51BPUK review

The Radeon HD 6370M graphics chip may sound good, but it could manage only 22fps in our Fear test. It's underpowered by today's standards, although is capable for casual games.

While we like the keyboard and appreciate the Blu-ray drive and generous RAM and hard drive allocations, this version of the Lenovo G570 doesn’t quite enough 3D oomph to win an award.

Lenovo G570 M51BPUK review

A Blu-ray drive and tons of RAM makes this £500 laptop a good buy, but there are better deals if you don't need to play HD movies

Lenovo G570 M51BHUK review

Lenovo's G570 range of laptops spans a variety of specifications. We've also reviewed the Core i5-based G570 M51BPUK. The entire range shares the same well-built chassis that has a dark brushed-metal wrist rest on the inside and a metallic brown-black...

A £500 laptop with Blu-ray might look like a bargain, but there are better all-rounders available for the same price

Lenovo G570-4334 review

The G570-4334 from Lenovo is the kind of typically functional laptop you'd expect from the company, though it doesn't fare too badly in the looks department either. On the inside you'll find dark, brushed metal finish surrounding the keyboard and the...

Lenovo’s G570-4334 is smart, functional and has a decent turn of speed, though we had concerns about the screen – not only is it shinier than a soldier’s boot, the row of dead pixels that appeared soon after its first use was quite disconcerting....

Lenovo Essential G570 review

Unfortunately, the Lenovo Essential G570 can often cost as much as speedier and more full-featured business laptops. Our review system, as configured, will cost you around £600 (although the line starts at around £300).

The Lenovo Essential line is supposed to be a budget line, and the G570 performs that way, but the price point is too high. If you're looking for a budget-friendly machine, this version of the Lenovo Essential G570 isn't it. The Essential G570 line...

Lenovo IdeaPad G570 review

Priced under £600, the Lenovo IdeaPad G570 has an impressively strong set of specifications. Matching a Sandy Bridge Intel Core i5-2410M processor with 6GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 6370M graphics card has certainly paid off in performance.

Lenovo isn’t all about work-focused laptops as it proves with the Lenovo IdeaPad G570, an excellent all-rounder for a very competitive price. The performance is strong in all areas and we were especially impressed by the stylish finish and sturdy build...

Lenovo IdeaPad G570 review

A great all-rounder with surprising power, plenty of stamina and a nice keyboard — all for an enticing price

It’s always easy to pick fault with budget laptops, and although the IdeaPad G570 lacks some of the niceties of other models here, it has it where it counts. For a very tempting price it packs Core i3 performance into an unusually refined laptop.

Lenovo Essential G570 review: Lenovo Essential G570

Lenovo Essential G570

The ; costs less than many of its competitors with similar components, yet displays just enough of Lenovo's famed design quality to not feel cheap.

This is still a plastic laptop, and you can get a higher-quality IdeaPad for just a little more. Configuration options are limited.

The Lenovo Essential G570 is a surprisingly good deal for a 15-inch Core i5 laptop, but offers few frills.
