Lenovo Ideapad 110s review

Considering the color white typically symbolizes simplicity, Lenovo couldn't have picked a better color for the Lenovo Ideapad 110S.

The affordable Lenovo Ideapad 110S has a comfortable keyboard, perfectly portable design and enough performance for working on documents and browsing the internet.

Performance slows down when multitasking. Its screen and speakers are underwhelming for watching HD video. The touchpad can be slow to respond to taps and scrolling.

The Lenovo Ideapad 110S is a simple but capable budget laptop for those with basic needs and who don't want to make the Chromebook leap.

  (Rating Hidden)

About as basic as laptops come, the tiny Lenovo Ideapad 110S won't exactly wow you with its specs. But we've reviewed similarly priced laptops that still score well in our tests. Read our Ideapad 110S review to see if this is one of them.

Lenovo Ideapad 110S

The Lenovo Ideapad 110S is a frill-free $200 laptop that's good enough for basic use, but not much more. If you're on a shoestring budget, but need Windows, it's worth a look.

Low price for a Windows laptop. Decent keyboard.

Mediocre performance. Unexceptional display quality. Soft speakers. Bland design.

Chances are, you already know whether the Lenovo Ideapad 110S is for you: You're on the lookout for something affordable you won't worry about the kids or grandkids ruining, you want to be able to do some quick typing or web work while you're out and...

Lenovo Ideapad 110S Review

The Lenovo Ideapad 110S is faster than the competition and has a responsive keyboard. But its battery life is shorter than average, and you won't get the fastest Wi-Fi speeds.

Keyboard is responsive; Touchpad supports gestures; Speedier than the competition; Includes one-year Office 365 subscription

Shorter-than-average battery life; Horrible webcam; No 802.11ac Wi-Fi

Lenovo IdeaPad 110S (N3060, 32 GB) Subnotebook Review

Cheap entry-level laptop. Lenovo's IdeaPad 110S is a small, 11-inch subnotebook. The much too high power consumption takes its toll on the battery life. We report on how the compact entry-level device fares in terms of performance in our short review.

four colors available ; acceptable casing temperatures ; sufficient system performance ; low price ; empty M.2 slot ; micro-SD card reader ; firm hinges (hardly rocks) ; low weight

high power consumption ; short battery life ; 32 GB of storage ; casing stiffness

Lenovo's IdeaPad is an affordable, 11.6-inch subnotebook. The entry-level device costs just 220 Euros and comes with a dual-core SoC, 2 GB of RAM, and a 32 GB eMMC flash drive. The device will certainly satisfy users who occasionally deal with office...
