Lenovo ThinkPad 13 review

Budget laptops get no glory and ones made for business, even less so. But, they're the ones a lot of us buy for day-to-day tasks at the office, at home or at school, so when a good one comes around, you know it because it stands out from the crowd. The...

The thin-and-light Lenovo ThinkPad 13 offers a lot for a little, including a great keyboard, a matte 1080p screen, useful port assortment, a fair amount of upgrade options and a lightweight, but rugged build quality.

The touchpad can be a little jumpy and the trackpoint can be hard to find without looking. The keyboard isn't backlit.

A travel-friendly, tough business laptop, the Lenovo ThinkPad 13 delivers essentials for work or school.

Lenovo ThinkPad 13

The Lenovo ThinkPad 13 is an inexpensive rugged laptop with all-day battery life; it's a fine choice whether you're buying it for a college student or a small business.

Thin and light. Affordable. Comes with Windows 10 Pro. Comfortable keyboard. Mil-Spec rugged. Bright screen.

Ethernet connectivity requires an adapter.

If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive laptop that's capable of lasting the four years of a college education or a similar amount of time to write off the costs on the tax forms for your business, the Lenovo ThinkPad 13 should be at the top of...

Lenovo Thinkpad 13 Review (2017): Cheap and mostly cheerful

Lenovo has released the second-generation version of its ThinkPad 13, a business ultrabook with the same no-nonsense style we've come to know and love. Unlike some ultrabooks, the ThinkPad 13 packs a bunch of ports that (most likely can) cover all of...

Ample ports ; Durable construction ; Classic ThinkPad design ; Long battery life ; Fingerprint reader

Thick bezels ; Bulky for an ultrabook ; Dim display

If you’re in the market for a ThinkPad but you can’t drop several hundred on one of the higher-end models, Lenovo has a great compromise in the ThinkPad 13. While you’re not getting the thinnest ultrabook out there nor a bright 4K display, you will...

Lenovo ThinkPad 13 Review

The new ThinkPad 13 isn't the thinnest, lightest, or even the best Ultrabook on the market. Nevertheless, this entry-level business laptop has quite a bit to offer for your money and delivers a solid value.

Affordable for an Ultrabook ; Tough, attractive, quality build ; Super speedy SSD

Performance skews to the lower end ; Mediocre display ; Heavy for an Ultrabook ; It’s a bit chunky for an Ultrabook and it’s not breaking any records with its performance, but the entry-level ThinkPad 13 is still a quality (and pretty!) machine that...

It’s a bit chunky for an Ultrabook and it’s not breaking any records with its performance, but the entry-level ThinkPad 13 is still a quality (and pretty!) machine that won’t break the bank.
