Lost values. For a mere 420 Euros Lenovo is offering the ThinkPad

Non-reflective display; Long battery life; Relatively quiet; Good input devices

Low brightness; Weak contrast; Not robust

That Lenovo has omitted proper buttons for the touchpad.

slide pad and buttons in paticular are a bit awkward to get used to (alot of playing with settings) sharp edges all around the keyboard

Small, light weight, reasonable battery life, matte screen, trackpoint, great keyboard. Early days yet but hopefully great Lenovo build quality.

All the bloatware means you have to spend ages taking it all off. Not very fast but does what I need it to do. No phyical switch to turn WiFi/Bluetootch on or off. Lack of any disk activity lights means you can't always tell if Windoze has died or the...
