Lenovo ThinkPad T450 Ultrabook Review

Cutting the wrong corners? Compromises in the casing, screen and configuration make the ThinkPad T450 a comparatively affordable alternative to the high-end T450s model. However, the buyer should carefully consider whether the money saved really makes...

Stiff, impeccably built casing, Outstanding keyboard, Decent application performance, Low power consumption, Low noise and temperature development, LTE module or M.2 SSD can be retrofitted, Extensive security features, 3-year warranty

TN screen with low brightness and weak contrast ratio, Uncomfortable ClickPad, Middling battery life

You get what you pay for - admittedly, the saying is a bit hackneyed and the ThinkPad T450 is definitely not a product that earns the label "cheap". Nevertheless, a grain of truth is found: Lenovo's decision to install such a low-quality screen in a...

I love my Thinkpad

I have had my Lenovo thinkpad for about six months now. It has windows 10 on it. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted it because it has windows 10, but I think the only reason I like the windows 10 is because of the computer. It has a personal assistant...

The screen is the perfect size and has perfect clarity

The short keys are too easily activated

-Keyboard -navigator point -dedicated mouse buttons -quiet processor -good performance -I could customize the components -finish of the plastic (it is not glossy so less stains) - good quality finish

- the screen quality could be better - when the computer is closed the keys of the keyboard touch the screen and leaves some marks. - the cable of the driver/transformer could be anti-twist - the video-conference cam could have a better quality

Bought solid state for reliability due to problems with previous PC (not a lenovo) Starts up very quickly and is totally quiet. Crystal clear display - great resolution. Nice keyboard to use. Long battery life means I don't need to drag a power cable...

Lack of CD/DVD drive means have to pull software etc down through internet rather than loading from disc.

I can carry it with one hand, despite arthritis. I can move it ditto! Quiet, and just rather adorable. The screen is a joy: I can finally work in my south-facing window without looking at my own reflection all the time, and squinting to see what's...

Lots, but I think it's the wretched Microsoft software, not Lenovo!!!!!!! Main issue is control and function keys being reversed to any other computer I've had - and opposite to the little notebook I also habitually use, which is annoying.

Lenovo Thinkpad T450

Reasonably nice look. Keyboard appears robust. Keys on keyboard nice shape. Good hidef screen. Mouse pad a bit too sensitive.

a) No light or indication that caps lock is on. b) Laptop re-powers up when the lid is lifted after hibernate/sleep. c) Given installed 16 GB RAM, it is slow. d) No power indicator on battery. e) No hardware switch to turn WiFi on/off. f) When critical...

Lenovo Thinkpad T450

Keyboard is good, Screen is good. If it didn't produce noises I would keep it and work on it. Unfortunately I had to return it.

It produces squeaking and high pitch noises from time to time such that it is impossible to work on it. It is definitely not a silent notebook. Very far from MacBook Pro. It actually uses fan a lot more than MacBook. You can clearly feel it when...
