Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (2nd Gen, OLED)

The addition of a higher-resolution OLED display makes the business-minded convertible-hybrid Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga attractive to creatives.

Brilliant, colorful screen. Comfortable backlit retractable keyboard. Full complement of ports. Built-in rechargeable stylus.

Pricey as configured. OLED screen means less battery life than the competition. Fingerprint magnet.

Bottom Line: The addition of a higher-resolution OLED display makes the business-minded convertible-hybrid Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga attractive to creatives.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (2nd Gen)

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a convertible-hybrid laptop with a sturdy chassis, plenty of ports, and a handy stylus. It's a solid choice for its slightly larger than average screen, but the competition in this realm is fierce.

Comfortable backlit retractable keyboard. Built-in rechargeable stylus. Full complement of ports, including Thunderbolt 3.

Less battery life than the competition. Requires dongle for Ethernet. Fingerprint magnet.

Bottom Line: The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga is a convertible-hybrid laptop with a sturdy chassis, plenty of ports, and a handy stylus. It's a solid choice for its slightly larger than average screen, but the competition in this realm is fierce.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (2nd Gen, 2017) Review and Ratings

Take the goodness of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and distill it into a 2-in-1, and you'll get the 2017 ThinkPad X1 Yoga. Biz buyers who need a convertible laptop can't ignore this one.

14-inch screen in a 13-inch-class chassis ; Excellent keyboard and screen, with "disappearing" keys in tablet mode ; Very good performance and battery life ; Excellent connectivity for a thin ultrabook

A bit pricey, especially once options added ; Merely okay speakers ; No standard-size SD card slot (MicroSD only)

Our test machine came loaded with Windows 10 Pro, a $30 option over the Home edition that comes standard. And we loved that
