Razer Book 13 Review | Trusted Reviews

The Razer Book 13 is a powerful and stylish Ultrabook that's looking to challenge the likes of the Dell XPS 13 and Apple MacBook Air.

More powerful than most Windows Ultrabooks;Capable of entry-level gaming;Stylish and portable design;Great port selection

Overpriced ;Stingy storage options; No fingerprint scanner;Slightly heavier than rivals

Razer Book 13 review: A superb ultraportable for work

Razer hits the ultraportable bullseye with its first throw

Stylish and very well made ; Funky RGB-backlit keyboard ; Point of entry into the Razer lifestyle

256GB SSD too small for the price ; The competition offers better battery life ; Fan's a bit noisy

Forget that it is the first effort, the Razer Book 13 is a very, very good ultraportable and an outstanding first attempt at a productivity machine by Razer.

Razer Book 13 Review – Razer’s first Ultrabook!

Everyone knows that Razer makes high end gaming laptops that can be in excess of £3000 - but what if

Looks professional with CNC aluminium uni-body design.

Glossy touchscreen can attract fingerprints and cause glare.

If you’re in the market for a high-end, ultra-portable, compact system for productivity then the Razer Book 13 is definitely worth buying if your budget allows for it.

Razer Book 13 review: stop gaming, and get to work

A costly but cunning ultraportable.

Vibrant 16:10 display ; Attractive Blade-esque design ; Powerful performance ; Per-key RGB keyboard

Just 256GB of storage in base and midrange models ; Premium price ; Clunkier than some competitors ; Battery life is just okay

Razer, best known for its Blade gaming laptops, has made its first foray into the productivity space. We tested the Razer Book 13, powered by Intel’s Core i7-1165G7, Iris Xe integrated graphics, and 16GB of RAM. All in all, it’s a great laptop — but it...

Razer Book 13 Review

Snappy performance with Intel "Tiger Lake" CPU ; Long battery life ; Slick metal design in a super-small body ; Attractive 16:10 edge-to-edge display ; Comfortable keyboard with per-key RGB lighting ; Superior touchpad ; Full complement of ports

Only 256GB of storage in base and midrange models ; Feels a tad heftier than its lightest competitors

The only non-gaming laptop in Razer's lineup, the Razer Book 13 is a sleek and compact machine that reaches the very top tier of ultraportables in terms of design, performance, and features.

Razer Book 13 review: A slick laptop with a disappointing keyboard

We don't mind the Razer Book 13's higher price given its slick design and lack of bloatware, not to mention the solid overall performance. But the keyboard is surprisingly subpar, making it a harder sell.

Sharp aluminum design with cool, quiet operation ; 16:10 display with excellent viewing angles ; Smooth, generously sized trackpad

Mushy, low-travel keyboard that constantly misses keystrokes ; Storage is limited to 256GB for non-4K models ; No fingerprint reader

The Razer Book 13’s performance is about what you’d expect for a laptop with an Intel Core i7-11G5G7 processor and 16GB of RAM. It’s plenty fast for everyday productivity tasks and gets decent battery life, and you can get away with some light 3D...

Razer Book 13 review

Razer goes full productivity with great results

Powerful overall and graphics performance ; Plenty of ports ; Bright, vivid display ; Comfortable, customizable keyboard

Runs a bit warm ; Sluggish file transfer

Armed with Intel’s powerful Tiger Lake CPU and GPU, the Razer Book 13 makes a compelling case to productivity users.
