Sony VAIO VGN-FZ11L

Sony's budget entertainment laptop gets a Santa Rosa makeover.

As well as the aforementioned GeForce 8400M GT the specification of the VGN-FZ11L is quite impressive. A Core 2 Duo T7100 running at 1.8GHz, coupled with 2GB DDR2 667MHz RAM, lies at its core. Storage comes courtesy of a 120GB HDD, a multi format...

Sony VAIO VGN-FZ21M laptop

The Sony VAIO VGN-FZ21M is a great example of a notebook aimed at those who want to do more than just write documents and answer emails when on the move, as Sony has designed it to be a multimedia machine. Weighing in at 2.6kg, it is not the lightest...

Blu-ray drive, great screen

Poor battery life, poor performance

The Sony VAIO VGN-FZ21M should be a powerhouse notebook, as it packs in all the features the modern user wants and needs. Sadly, we found it didn't live up to expectations, with the battery life and all-round performance less than ideal. On the plus...

Sony Vaio VGN-TZ21WN review

Sony's latest laptop is small, beautiful...and delicate, too

Good connectivity ; Sturdy design ; Attractive looks

Awkward trackpad ; Expensive

Gorgeous, but a limited machine that’s costly

Sony Vaio VGN-FZ11Z review

When Full HD isn't actually Full HD

Well designed ; Easy to use ; Powerful ; Blu-ray drive included

Non-Full HD display

Sony Vaio EB3E9E review

Sony's Vaios have always been a little more expensive than the competition, but the premium is usually worth it if you care about aesthetics. Where some similarly priced laptops make do with a cheap-looking black plastic case, the attractive EB3E9E...

The Vaio styling and build quality make the EB3E9E an attractive choice, but it's a little overpriced compared to the competition.

Sony Vaio VGN-FZ19VN review

At 2.6kg, the Vaio is a few hundred grams lighter than other 15.4in notebooks we've seen, although it's not as light or as compact as the Satellite, which has a smaller screen.

Sony's Vaio is lighter than many of the 15.4in notebooks here, but is no less feature packed. If you need a 15.4in display but don't want to haul around a heavy notebook, the Vaio is very attractive. If the Dell's 3D performance doesn't interest you,...

Sony Vaio VGN-FZ180EB laptop PC

The Sony Vaio VGN-FZ180EB is a mid-size laptop PC with a nice screen.

If you want a top-notch multimedia laptop, look to a Dell Inspiron or a Toshiba Satellite. For a nice work laptop with a great 15.4in screen, though, this Vaio VGN-FZ180EB fills the bill.
