Toshiba Qosmio G30-102

Toshiba adds HD DVD to its Qosmio notebook.

Packed to the gills with connectivity and features, the Qosmio is a true entertainment powerhouse. It's powerful enough for work and play, while HD DVDs looks great on its 1,920 x 1,200 resolution screen. It's expensive, but this could be all the...

Toshiba Qosmio G30-204 review

A well-featured machine, but starting to show its age

Good performance ; Comfortable to use ; Well built

Big and heavy

There's nothing wrong with its features, build or performance, but it shows its age next to smaller and lighter rivals

Toshiba Qosmio G30-102 review

Great performance and excellent usability

HD DVD drive ; Large memory and hard drive ; Well built and comfortable to use

Portability is virtually non-existant

It's certainly bulky, but that's hardly a surprise with all the multimedia treats the G30-102 comes with

Toshiba Qosmio G30 Portable Entertainment Center With HD DVD-ROM

A couple of years ago there started to appear notebooks that seemed to violate the concept of mobile personal computers at first glance. Large dimensions, weight, and a short battery life are not favorable to real mobile work. Come to think of it,...

Qosmio G30-163

Toshiba's latest laptop is the first to pack an HD DVD drive. However, the Qosmio G30-163 is more than just an expensive toy for cash-flashing consumers.

Plenty of power and a great screen. HD DVD playback is a neat extra. Good looks.

Pricey, and very heavy.

The G30-163 is ideal for the creative. The first notebook to offer HD DVD playback doesn't come cheap, though. However, Toshiba has put together a powerful package that will satisfy your design needs as well give you early-adopting kudos

Toshiba Qosmio G30 (PQG32A-02V01W)

HD-DVD-R drive, High resolution screen, Media controls, HDMI output, Performance, Battery life

Heat escapes via the keyboard

This is already a very cool machine, with plenty of power and functionality. Now with the added HD-DVD-R drive it's even better.
