Toshiba Qosmio X300-148 review

Toshiba's Qosmio X300 is a competitive laptop for the price, but performance lags compared to the competition

Good value ; Decent specs

Cheap and tacky feel ; Performance doesn't match more serious machines

A garish design that won't suit everybody, but still offers value for money

Toshiba Qosmio X300-11S review

A powerful, eye-catching gaming system, but flawed for multimedia use

Powerful performance ; Strong graphics ; Great audio ; Bright screen

Poor battery life ; Bulky ; Limited multimedia features

So long as Blu-ray isn't on your wish-list, this well-priced laptop could be the one for you

Toshiba Qosmio X300-11s notebook

Toshiba is best known for its rather staid and business approach to notebooks but on occasion it throws in a curve ball both in terms of design and performance. The Toshiba Qosmio X300-11s is a great example of that curve ball. The Toshiba Qosmio...

Powerful, great graphics

Love/hate design, no Blu-ray, poor battery

The Toshiba Qosmio X300-11s manages to bring the notion of media centre and gaming machine together in a striking notebook design. It's not without its flaws but there is no denying the power and performance of this machine.

Toshiba Qosmio X300 review

Tosh's latest laptop is a Pimp My Ride affair. But should a laptop ever have the equivalent of alloy wheels?

Size is important when it comes to laptops and, loud design apart, this just shouldn’t be so big

Toshiba - Qosmio X300-15T

Toshiba's Qosmio notebooks certainly make a striking visual impact with their bold red colour scheme and flame-adorned livery. Fortunately the £1,400 X300-15T has the performance credentials to match its hot-rod looks. At the heart of this ...

Superb looks and great performance are not enough to elevate the Qosmio X300-15T to must-have status, as an unfortunate lack of battery life, screen quality and value for money hamper an otherwise impressive package.

Toshiba Qosmio X300

Battery life isn't great, but the X300 packs a powerful punch and a stylish design

The X300-13W may be a bit of a departure for Toshiba, but it certainly has the looks and the power to make a fine gaming laptop. It’s not badly priced either, as similar 17in laptops from gaming specialists such Alienware, also come in at well over...

Toshiba Qosmio X300-13O - Futuristic heavyweight

The Toshiba Qosmio X300 is a so-called ‘desktop replacement', which explains the enormous size of the laptop. The Qosmio X300 offers some of the newest hardware and a very special design that gives it a raw sort of look. In the 130 configuration that...

The Toshiba Qosmio X300-13O is large computer, literally. The computer offers relatively new hardware which can be used for many different things like gaming or multimedia work. The computer has a slightly futuristic design which will definitely...

TOSHIBA QOSMIO X300-11S

The Toshiba Qosmio X300-11S is a laptop that comes in red or black. Measuring 41.2 cm, this power devise is the most potent processor in the market, with the technology of the Intel Core 2 Duo, the Intel Centrino Duo Processor, and the amazing speed of...

There's no denying the power lurking inside this leviathan of a laptop. And if you're after something a little different, it certainly stands out. However, we can't help thinking that Toshiba has designed with boy racer vigour rather than Aston Martin...

Toshiba Qosmio X300

It's too bloody red!

Good for playing the latest games, reasonably powerful speakers, good screen

Main speakers are on the palm rest, keyboard does not illuminate, hard drive transfers were slow, lacks a high-definition drive

It's fast and not overly expensive compared to other gaming laptops, but almost everyone who saw this thing commented on how ugly it looks. Take a look at the pics and judge for yourself.
