The Boxee Box does offer a lot of goodness - a whole bunch of apps, interesting design and is a very capable media-streaming device. However, you get the WD Live Hub with a 1TB hard drive built-in for considerably less money.

Very good HD playback, with the filters correctly set up, Boxee Media Manager app is easy to set up, Unique design, Remote has a complete keypad on one side

A couple of filters make video noisy, if turned on, UI feels dated, You get a WD Live Hub with a 1TB drive for slightly less cash!, Quite a few apps don�t work in India

Easy to use straight out of the box, although you do have to create an account. Excellent picture quality and automatic picture refresh rate sensing for your TV i.e. 1080p.

HD streaming over WIFI very flaky. WiFi conection often drops out even in a good strength area. Need to use wired network if you want reliability and good streaming speeds. D-LINK no longer supports item and Boxee is now no more as they have moved to...

Easiest media player to use I have come across.

Didn't work with all but one of my tv's, which was the oldest of the three I have. The HDMI output on this device is very temperamental in that respect. Even with the one tv I have with which it does work I have to be careful not to knock even slightly...

Well Designed Remote Very good up-scaling quality Easy Setup Works well with NAS

Sadly no longer supported by D-Link Struggles on large 1080p streams over SMB, but works fine over NFS
