CAT B15

The Cat B15 tough Android smartphone makes you feel just a little bit more macho.

Looks good for a ruggedized phone, Dust, water and drop proof, Dual SIM support

Fairly expensive, Middling spec, Battery sometimes pops out when it's dropped

Cat B15 review

The brand that made your boots has a new Android phone

Durable ; MicroSD support ; Surprisingly good looking ; Waterproof

Weak processor ; Low-end camera ; Just 3G

The B15 seems like a budget phone in a well-constructed case. It's 3G only, has a weak processor and camera, and the display is none to sharp. The battery is a bit small at 2000 mAh, which is worrying on a phone that should be reliable above all else....

Cat B15 review

Rugged handset impresses with durability, but it's an unlikely smartphone

Just as durable as Caterpillar claims, quirky design, good battery life, expandable storage, runs Android

Laggy at times, dull screen, only 4GB of internal storage, design won't appeal to all

For those looking for a sturdy, rugged phone, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Cat B15, as the handset excels at fighting off the elements.

Cat B15 Review

It's a sad fact that, if you choose to go for a traditional "tough" or "rugged" phone, people have often pointed and laughed at you. Oh, come on, don't pretend. It's true. Deep down you also know that you've cut some corners too. The screen is rubbish,...

CAT B15

The makers of Caterpillar have crossed over from construction equipment to smartphones with their release of the CAT B15 . Like most Caterpillar machines, the CAT B15 is an especially rugged device and comes with IP6 and IP7 certification. This means...

Water-resistant, dust-proof, survives drops of up to 1.8 meters, Wet finger tracking display, Good battery life

Mediocre display with bad viewing angles, Lag when using processor intensive apps, Battery cover and battery pops out when dropped, Small internal storage
