Coolpad Max review

Overpriced!

Premium design ; Excellent build quality ; Nifty dual-security feature ; Snappy fingerprint sensor

Battery performance could have been better ; Boring user interface ; Low on computing power ; Mediocre camera performance ; Optimisation issues

Coolpad is playing the cards with its dual-system security feature and has loaded the Coolpad Max with decent hardware. However as far as the overall performance goes, the sub Rs 25,000 price category has much better options in the form of Xiaomi Mi 5,...

Coolpad Max review: Capable but overpriced - The Times of India

Coolpad Max is the most expensive smartphone from company the yet. We review it to see if it manages to deliver as Coolpad's other devices in the past have.

All said, the Coolpad Max's is a well-rounded smartphone. But its asking price of Rs 24,999 is a bit too much, and there are better choices out there.

Coolpad Max

Missed opportunity

Good looking ; Well built ; Nice display

Average performer ; Mediocre camera ; sub-par battery life

The Coolpad Max is a failed attempt by the company and is unable to impress us even with its charmingly good looks.

May 16th would be the date to mark on your calendars, as that is when the Coolpad Max and Coolpad Max Lite smartphones will be shown off to the rest of the world. After all, there are quite a number of people who find it difficult to hit a balance...

Coolpad Max Review

Generous amounts of storage and RAM ; Metal body with Gorilla Glass 4 ; Good camera performance

Slightly weak processor ; Clunky custom software ; Gets quite warm with use

Coolpad definitely wants to get more serious in India, and is in discussions with offline retailers to expand its footprint. The Max is an interesting phone, but heats up a lot and is seriously overpriced if all you're looking for is an everyday...

Dual space, dual identity, one phone

I have not bought this phone, but the high price may be due to dual space technology. It has become a big hit in China due to this feature. You can have two avatars of all apps because the dual space technology is integrated at the OS level. Its like...
