Google Pixel 6 Review: So close to greatness | Trusted Reviews

The Google Pixel 6 is here and so is our review. We've been using this phone for more than a week and here's what we think.

So many great software features ; Nice array of colours ; Strong camera hardware for the price

Some jank in the software ; The display lacks the 120Hz refresh rate of many similarly priced rivals ; A couple of odd design choices

Google’s direction for the Pixel 6 has to be commended. From the chip, to the software and the camera this is one of the few phones I have used this year that feels interesting and actually new.

Google Pixel 6 review: finally, a premium smartphone from Google

Google is back to making premium smartphones, and the Pixel 6 is well worth your money

Tensor chip is impressive ; Great camera ; Bold display ; Purest version of Android

No longer a compact size option ; No telephoto camera ; Camera bump is large and awkward

The Pixel 6 offers the most premium and polished experience we've seen from the Pixel series so far, keeping the best bits of the Pixel 4 and 5 – namely excellent photo-taking and clean software – then packaging it in more premium design.

Google Pixel 6 review: Starting fresh

Google's 2021 Pixel phone is here - and it's a bit different to what's come before. Here's why that's exciting.

Unique standout design ; Five years of security/software updates ; Water and dust resistance ; Not too expensive

It's quite big compared to the Pixel 5 ; Fast-charging not all that fast

There are two big talking points with the Pixel 6: the unique design and the Google-made processor. This focus on creating a phone that's visually distinct from everything else on the market while also investing in its own home-grown silicon suggests...

Google Pixel 6 Review

The newest Pixel phone rocks Google's first ever chipset and seeks to maintain an excellent reputation for photography. Can it live up to these expectations?...

— Strong camera, neat software features

— Performance could be better

The Pixel 6 is a significant jump in quality over the Pixel 5 , and we were particularly impressed by the camera quality and the new software features. You can find better screens and CPU performance elsewhere, but this is a worthy Android device to...

Google Pixel 6 review: The smartest, best-value Pixel yet

Google's cut-throat Pixel 6 is a force to be reckoned with

Great price ; Astonishing cameras (again) ; Tensor chipset makes a strong first impression

Odd design ; Disappointing battery life ; No face unlock or microSD slot

The Google Pixel 6 represents quite a departure from recent Pixel phone launches. Not only is it unashamedly premium in its design, but it costs the same amount as the Pixel 5 did at launch, is significantly faster and comes with improved cameras and a...

Google Pixel 6 review

The Pixel 6 has a lot to offer for an affordable price, but is it simply too big to appease fans? Find out in our full review

Good value ; Great cameras ; Excellent software ; 90Hz OLED screen

Divisive design ; Big and heavy ; Slow charging

The Google Pixel 6 gets a lot right and on the whole, you get excellent hardware and software for a reasonable price. However, the question is largely whether the design is a step in the wrong direction or not.
