Google Pixel

The Google Pixel is a landmark device, signalling the first proper foray into phones by the search engine giant. And boy, has it done a good job.

Google Pixel Review: is Google's first smartphone Pixel perfect?

Google's first smartphones may be expensive, but are they a worthy Nexus replacement? We review both the Google Pixel and Pixel XL

Great specs ; Fast charging ; Excellent camera

More expensive than Nexus ; Not water resistant ; Design a little uninspired

Google Pixelbook review

ChromeOS goes upmarket, but who's it for?

Gorgeous screen ; Excellent build & flexibility ; Keyboard is great to type on

ChromeOS still fairly limited ; As expensive as a full-blown laptop ; Few pro-level art apps defeats the point of the Pen

It’s tough to see who would want an ultra-high end ChromeOS convertible - however well built or equipped the Pixelbook might be

Google Pixel review: Android at its best

For years, Google chose to partner with manufacturers to create handsets showing off the purest form of Android, with the latest innovations highlighted by the best hardware. This was what the Nexus range was all about. But this lead to at least a few...

Design quality is superb, stock Android runs very smoothly, sharp and bright screen

More expensive than Nexus phones, no manual camera controls

The Google Pixel is the best Android experience available right now. For the first time we get to see exactly what Google has in mind for hardware design and features. Google is completely in control, and you can tell. Everything is tight, refined and...

Google Pixel review

Is this the Google phone you've been waiting for?

Fantastic camera ; First dibs on Android Nougat ; Decent screen

Weak design ; Buggy OS

Not the slam dunk we'd hoped for, but Google's Pixel still delivers some standout features

Google Pixel review

A breath of fresh Google air in a world of Android over-complication

Supremely smooth performance ; Bright, colorful full HD display ; Comfortable one-handed use

Battery life could be better ; Assistant still realizing potential ; Expensive, even as a last-gen product

The Google Pixel is an excellent flagship phone that's only let down by mediocre battery life and some last-gen specs. The price has recently dropped, making the Pixel is a breath of fresh Google air in a world of Android over-complication.

Google Pixel Stand review: The best wireless charger for your Pixel 3

Google's smart wireless charger turns your Pixel 3 into a Home Hub, but are the Pixel Stand's extra features worth such a steep price?

Handy Google Assistant features ; Sunrise Alarm is great ; Fast charging speeds (with the Pixel 3)

More expensive than other wireless chargers ; Limited smart home features

Despite its high asking price and a couple of minor issues, I still think the Pixel Stand is a worthy accompaniment to your Pixel 3. It does a heck of a lot more than most wireless chargers on the market and its included smart features, while perhaps a...

Google Pixel review

Not everyone wants a phone with a big screen, but most small-screen phones compromise on performance and cameras. Not so with Google's latest flagship Android phone: Here's our Google Pixel review.

The Pixel has plenty going for it: it’s small, well built, speedy and has excellent cameras. It also supports Google’s Daydream VR headset and runs the plain version of Android 7 – complete with Google Assistant - and will get timely updates. But it...

Google Pixel review

The Google Pixel remains our favorite phone, bar none -- unless you're looking for a bigger screen, in which case we'd recommend its big brother, the Pixel XL .

The Google Pixel has a fantastic camera, especially in low light. It's elegantly designed. Google Assistant takes one of the most natural, human approaches to answering your voice.

The phone's display is dim in outdoor sunlight and its camera's Lens Blur feature is shoddy. It's splash-resistant rather than dunkable, and it's pricey compared to previous Google Nexus devices.

If you're wary of Samsung or looking for a worthy iPhone alternative, the Google Pixel is the high-end Android phone to get.
