HTC Mozart

A big screen, speedy processor and attractive design make the HTC Mozart an easy phone to like.

Great Screen, Fast processor, Good-looking design, Windows Phone provides a slick user experience

Camera could be better, Currently lacks multitasking and cut and paste, No microSD card slot

HTC's Windows 7 cameraphone entry

The HTC 7 Mozart will attract a lot of people trying to work out which Windows Phone 7 device is for them, as it's easy to look at the megapixel count in such decisions. It's certainly a lot more pocketable than the HTC HD7, and it feels more premium...

HTC 7 Mozart review

A Windows Phone 7 handset with a musical and photography focus

Beautifully designed OS works well with the hardware ; Neat Facebook integration ; Excellent Office apps ; Great for music playback, particularly good sound quality ; Hardware is lightweight yet sturdy and attractive

App market choice is low compared to others ; No real multitasking ; Camera is a bit slow ; Button placement infinitely frustrating ; Battery life could be better

The HTC 7 Mozart is one of three Windows Phone 7 launch handsets from the Taiwanese company, offering a surround-sound experience for video and music playback from your humble handset.

HTC 7 Mozart

There are three HTC handsets available at launch for Windows Phone 7: the HTC HD7 on O2, the HTC 7 Trophy on Vodafone, and the HTC 7 Mozart on Orange. So should you plump for this over the other two HTC models and the LG and Samsung offerings? Read on...

8-megapixel camera, easy to use operating system, good screen, well built

720p camcorder isn't that great

The HTC 7 Mozart is a very well built phone that has plenty to offer. It doesn’t have the screen capabilities of the Samsung Omnia 7 (no AMOLED here), but that doesn’t stop it from being one we would recommend.

HTC 7 Mozart review

HTC smartphones are uniformly well-built, slick and have excellent interfaces. However, they often look similar to each other. The unibody Mozart tries to stand out, but really ought to shout louder.

The HTC 7 Mozart isn’t the most exciting of handsets, but it has a lot of power under the cover – not least that great battery and the quality 8Mp camera.

HTC 7 Mozart Review

HTC's mid-range Windows Phone 7 launch handset, the HTC 7 Mozart, boasts high fidelity audio and a slightly better camera than the HTC 7 Trophy and HTC HD7. But will its smaller screen size let it down? What…

HTC 7 Mozart review -

Slick, intuitive interface, excellent social integration in phonebook, top-notch email features, very responsive touch-screen, Zune and Xbox Live sync, app cost goes straight to mobile bill

Making a phone call is a longwinded process, eight-megapixel camera is only mediocre, Bing Maps is still inferior to Google Maps ? with no option to get Google Maps either

HTC 7 Mozart

This is a phone that, like the HTC Legend, is created from one single piece of aluminium. It makes the device sturdy, solid and cool to hold. The HTC 7 Mozart has hi-fi audio, with SRS WOW HD sound for an improved audio experience. The Zune music in...

The HTC 7 Mozart is the ideal size and shape for me. It looks good, it feels solid and is the sort of handset I’d be looking at. However, on a wider point I’d perhaps prefer this phone if it ran Android. I can’t quite put my finger on it, it’s perhaps...
