HTC One mini

The HTC One is an excellent handset, a device that puts the design of practically all other smartphones into the shade. For several months, it was the only handset that HTC had given us, as rumours swirled about a smaller model. The HTC One mini brings...

Fantastic premium design, great display, Sense 5 is a sophisticated user interface

Choosing a smaller device means accepting a less-powerful device, battery life isn't great, some apps wouldn't run, more expensive than rivals, no NFC

The HTC One mini brings a lot to the party. It looks good, it sounds good and it performs well enough on everyday tasks. It's a great mid-range device, with an experience that's very much the same as the larger HTC One. It might be a little slower, it...

HTC HD Mini review

HTC's HD2 is one of our favourite smartphones despite its WinMo leanings. Can its little brother match its success?

WinMo works better on its bigger brother’s screen, but this is a fine alternative if you need a highly pocketable touchscreen smartphone

First Look: HTC HD mini

While many love the idea of a smartphone with a 4.3-inch screen, to most it's just too big. Perhaps realizing this, HTC has launched the HTC HD mini , a smaller Windows Mobile smartphone with a 3.2-inch display at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona....

Smaller more manageable screen, cool design

Smaller screen means keyboard fiddly, not as impressive looking as the big screen HD2

Our time was brief, but that didn't stop us enjoying the HTC HD mini even if we did have to put up with Windows Mobile briefly. If you've fancied the HD2 for some time but don't want such a large phone in your pocket, this might just be the phone...

HTC One Mini review

A little slice of the world's best mobile phone.

Great design ; High-res screen ; Doesn't need more CPU power

Poorer battery ; Misses image stabilisation ; Storage too low

What are you supposed to do when you make the world's best phone? HTC thinks the answer is to make it smaller, shave off a few unnecessary bits and make it a whole lot cheaper.

HTC HD Mini review

HTC proves that Windows Mobile isn't dead yet

Compact form factor ; Great battery life ; Packed with features ; Wi-Fi router option ; High quality, multi-touch screen

It's still Windows Mobile underneath ; Browser navigation is temperamental ; No camera flash ; Poor app support

Hot on the heels of the excellent HTC Legend and the even more impressive HTC Desire, is the HTC HD Mini. But whereas the Legend and Desire both come equipped with Android 2.1, the HD Mini has to make do with Windows Mobile 6.5.3.

Galaxy S4 mini vs HTC One mini comparison review

Samsung's Galaxy S4 mini has arrived and now HTC has brought along its HTC One mini. Find out how these rivals stack up against each other in our Samsung Galaxy S4 mini vs HTC One mini comparison review. Updated on 30/07/13.

With an identical price point, this is a hard one to call. But we think the HTC One's build quality and superior screen gives it a slight advantage over the Galaxy S4 mini.
