HTC Titan

Does the Titan clash with our mobile phone experts? Or is it a Kraken phone?

Good screen quality, Super-fast performance, Windows Phone is a joy to use, Great camera

Relatively low pixel density, It's too big, Windows Phone is restrictive

HTC Titan review

Windows Phone 7.5 Mango with a massive screen and 8MP HD camera

Great Screen ; Battery goes a long way ; Clean, streamlined interface ; Fluid internet experience ; Camera works exceptionally well

No expandable memory ; Multitasking still hit and miss ; Facebook chat and Google Mail search still not working 100 ; Multiple Calendar issues ; HTC Watch needs work

HTC was the first to roll out Windows Phone 7 devices when they launched in the UK last year. And, true to form, it's in the lead with Windows Phone 7.5 devices too. The HTC Titan is one of its two first Mango-powered handsets - the other being the Radar.

HTC Titan

Whether it's Greek mythology or astrology, the notion of the titan is well established. The name brings with it a sense of size, a sense of power and a sense magnificence. But can the new HTC Titan, a Windows Phone 7 smartphone sporting a whopping...

Big SLCD screen, WP7, DNLA, Internet sharing

Too big for many, more storage needed, could have done with having better resolution

Look past the features, the improved specs, and the new Mango update and the big question is whether that screen really is too big. Those who enjoy consuming media are going to love it. If you read a lot, watch a lot, play games a lot, surf the web a...

HTC Titan review

Windows Phone 7.5 continues with the same look and feel as its predecessor version, and this is shown off to some benefit in the HTC Titan's enormous screen. At 4.7 inches you won't find many smartphones with larger displays, and no other Windows Phone...

The HTC Titan puts Windows Phone 7.5 into an enormous chassis, and the big screen has its advantages. However, there’s no Flash or external memory support, and the operating system lacks some key features found on other handsets here.

HTC Titan (AT&T) review

One of the best weapons in Windows Phone's arsenal is a well-designed phone, which is why I'm happy that HTC is along for the ride. HTC has a history of beautifully designed phones that are exceedingly polished with a premium feel, and I think the HTC...

The HTC Titan has a premium and polished design coupled with a colorful and vibrant display. It ships with the latest Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS, and has a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, an 8-megapixel camera that takes great pictures, and a front-facing...

The HTC Titan could be a little too large for small hands, and it doesn't offer expandable memory. We expected better call quality as well.

The HTC Titan's big and beautiful design and impressive features make it one of the better Windows Phone offerings on AT&T.

HTC HTC Titan review

HTC has really pushed the boat out with the HTC Titan. Not only does it have one of the biggest displays currently available, but it also has the latest iteration of Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform, known as Mango, and a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor.

A huge screen and a brilliant operating system - it may be too big for some, though

HTC Titan Review: In Depth

The HTC Titan is the latest flagship Windows Phone device from HTC. It follows on from last year's impressive HTC HD7 and is one of the first batch of new phones to come running with Mango, aka Windows…

Large 4.7-inch screen with great contrast. ; Impressive 8-megapixel camera. ; Solid, dependable battery. ; Understated stylish design.

Low screen resolution. ; Dearth of apps compared to iTunes App Store. ; Size maybe too big for some. ; No microSD slot.

Bigger isn't always better, but when it comes to the Mango flavoured OS, size helps

Microsoft has found a big, powerful home for Mango – if the app developers get on board

HTC Titan review -

Excellent touch-screen and keyboard, modern and full-featured email interface, social networking is built right in, great build quality, good camera, innovative and intuitive OS, good screen for movies

Lack of apps on Windows Marketplace, Bing Maps lacks pedestrian directions, 4.7-inch screen may be too large for some
