i-mate JASJAM

Exclusively available on Telstra's Next-G network, the i-mate JASJAM is an HSDPA capable smart phone that features a slide-out keyboard, built in Wi-F...

Sliding backlit keyboard, Screen flips into landscape mode automatically, HSDPA capable, Generous features list, microSD card slot

Bluetooth only 1.2, Proprietary USB and headphone jack, Slider isn't smooth, Sluggish performance

The JASJAM is a fair device with a generous features list, but a slow processor and chunky size dampen its appeal.

The JASJAM offers a familiar i-mate smartphone experience with the added bonus of Next-G connectivity.

Uses Next G data network. 2-megapixel camera. Quad-band GSM. Easy to use sliding keyboard.

Next G coverage doesn't include Foxtel. Large and chunky unit.

Review: i-mate JasJam

If you're one of those people that's been looking for a phone for a long time, chances are you know what it feels like to be burdened by choice. In the case of mobile phones, the market might be seen to have just too much choice.

I thought this phone was brilliant, contrary to the beliefs of most people. The JasJam's keyboard is the best of any smartphone i've used. No software issues, unlike many other people, and the touchscreen was great. An excellent phone;

Great list of features, Large, easy to use keyboard, good touchscreen, Appointments, messages displayed on home screen

Clunky, but that's fine with such an amazing phone

completely upgradeable when it comes to software
