INQ Chat 3G review

Can INQ take on the BlackBerry range with a budget handset?

Native Twitter and Facebook client ; Good battery life ; Sub-£100 price tag

Slow to update ; Light feel in the hand ; Basic screen ; Severe lag at times

Although designed by a relatively nascent company, the INQ Chat 3G has a good hardware line up and a decent sub-£100 price tag, making it a really intriguing prospect.

INQ Chat 3G

With so many flagship phones launching virtually every week it's sometimes hard to remember that not everyone has a spare £50 for a mobile phone bill every month or a couple of hundred to buy one in the first place. If that's the case, we recommend you...

Cheap, easy to set-up, well built

No Wi-Fi, browser not great, keyboard a touch tight on space

If you are looking for a simple, but easy-to-use communication device without all the hassle or expense of the App Store and open source operating systems, the INQ Chat 3G will do you nicely.

Social media fans may be drawn to the INQ Chat 3G, and its integrated social networking applications are impressive. But the remainder of the features are middle of the road, so think carefully about what you really need and whether this handset...

INQ Chat 3G

A budget Blackberry that's all about social networking

Inexpensive, Qwerty keyboard, social networking functional, good Blackberry clone, push email

Massive lag at start-up, squeaky rubberised keyboard

that come along that happen to have social networking features installed and then there are phones that have social networking features at their very core. Inq mobiles all firmly fall into the latter category of handsets. Famed for producing the...
