Kyocera DuraForce (AT&T)

The Kyocera DuraForce is an adventure-ready Android smartphone that strikes a nice balance between price and performance.

Affordable. Extremely durable. High-quality 720p LCD. Long battery life

Poor camera performance. Subpar call quality

Kyocera's latest ruggedized smartphones have bucked the trend of settling for dated specs in exchange for serious durability. The Brigadier on Verizon is one of the most impressive ruggedized smartphones we've tested, beating everyone to the punch with...

Kyocera DuraForce

Unfortunately, the DuraForce isn't a particular "force" to be reckoned with when it comes to performance. Its 8-megapixel camera takes blurry and bland photos, its processor can feel slow and its battery doesn't observably last very long.

AT&T's Kyocera DuraForce features a tough and waterproof construction, push-to-talk capabilities, impressive call and audio quality, and a competitive price tag.

The handset comes with a lot of bloatware you can't get rid of, its camera takes poor photos, its processor is sluggish at times and its battery drains quickly.

Get the Kyocera DuraForce if a rugged handset is a priority; otherwise, AT&T has other handsets in the same price range with better cameras and faster internal speeds.

Good while it lasted

Bought this nine months ago and at first I was so excited: this phone didn't need a case and was the perfect size, had a long battery life, and the bluetooth was amazing... flash forward to now and it has constantly crashed for more than 12 hours twice...

Rugged enough for wilderness use

I've had one for a little over two years, and love it. Small enough for my jeans pocket, durable enough for rugged outdoor activity, and most importantly waterproof enough to fall in a pond or creek, and still function. My only complaint is that it is...

Durable, per for male or active person.

Purchased this phone two years ago. I dropped it at least four time. No damage at all. Awesome phone for a active lifestyle. Full functional android platform. Small and compact. No need to purchace a protect case. It is built as the protective case.

Not crazy about it

I bought this phone over a year ago and have had plenty of time to decide whether I like it or not. I'm not crazy about it... I use one app at a time and it heats up until screen turns a different color and I have an app that cools it down..the battery...
